I feel like you could take this a little further by utilizing slows like absolute zero, super glue, and even bloon sabo's. This just lending more time for the piles to accumulate before DDT's and smaller MOABs hit, since this seems be what ends the run currently, rather than the much slower BADs, which the piles still have time to tank.

ISAB there is a mod in btd6 that made a god village that gives every buff like ultra boost, MIB, god temple, and all the others you should use this so you can get a accurate pop count for the T5 tower of choice
I can't wait for the Supermines best map test. I'd imagine it to be at its best if there is just room for a singular spike factory in a circle in the middle of the map.
i think mortar would be a little interesting. since range is global, you could get minimal pops on other towers. i would also assume striker jones to be the best hero because of his military buff and his target focus and artillery command abilities.

Would Druid Lightning (220) also not be a good deregrow instead of multiple engi? Might not contribute much to the temple sack, but it's not hugely costly either.
The issue was solved by getting sun avatar anyways, so, it would be more efficient to just not spam engi or use a druid and just get sun avatar quickly.
You should do tests like this where only BAD damage matters, and you have towers than can clean up insides without doing too much damage. (bloon crush, glue, ect) because in late game that is ususally what counts more than ddts or zomg
Wouldnt it be the same as having a normal longest map with the permaspike hitting the bads on every loop? The spikes do the same damage, doesnt matter if they do it all at once every 7 loops or 7 times, once every loop. As long as there are no spikes left when a bloon leaks, then no damage was wasted. Here you have both a slightly shorter map, and some chances for the permaspikes to despawn.
You'd technically lose the pop count on perma, but you could use that smart spikes glitch to permanently boost its attack speed. The glitch is when you place a smart spikes spactory and in the middle of its attack speed buff at the start of the round you sell it and buy a different tower. Then that new tower inherites the attack speed til another tower is placed I don't think they fixed it
If the spread was random, the DDTs wouldn't get through because they would hit spikes no matter what. That said, they would hit fewer spikes at once, so they could slip by if the spike pile wasn't strong enough overall.
Would you say making the closer loops added 13 cycles in shoots your damage in the foot a bit? We saw at the beginning that the spikes expired before a bad got to the closer loop and given the perma spikes shooting a ton more spikes at the beginning of the round you get a more dense clump of spikes at the opening of the round that’ll expire before they’re used up.
Wouldnt it be more effective making it the longest map still with no diverging path? beacuse it would always use up the spike pile but still allow maximum time for production. And it would also be alot faster than bloons needing to go through alot of lopps before a single damage is made.
3 sabos for perma uptime? 0-2-5 glue? basically all the slowdowns in the game to easily fix the DDT speed issue, plus the pierce+range+projectile spd of the p.mentoring plus the atk spd+pierce of the homeland would ensure that the glue would hit pretty much everything...
Would a 023 or 024 glue have potentially slowed down the DDTs? Maybe giving the P-spike more time to add spikes, but more importantly potentially slowing them down enough to not skip the spike piles? (I-Impale also, but a) he couldn't have afforded that and b) that would have done a lot of damage)
It would, though this challenge series have a rule of only using buffs ( temple, brew, oc/ub, cta/homeland, gizer and so on ) after all of those it's mostly just damage givers like sbrit and glorm. There's cripple which could help with the ddts while also counting as a damage giver so I'm not sure why he went with sbrit first considering BAD insides were his problems.
