I was coming in to check why there was not any new clip broadcast for a while, I suddenly realised this is not Ok as I'm used on seeing new clips from Steve on a weekly basis. I see the comments here and it's like a knife through my heart to see that Steve passed away. I followed him for years and it was a pleasure to hear his playing and commentary, such a gentle nice person. With tears in my eyes I bid you farewell. My condolences to his loved ones. Will miss you a lot.
Steve meant more to his followers than he ever knew. We all felt comforted by knowing there was Steve in the world - he got us through the bad times. There are no words to describe the injustice of Steve's passing; there never was a kinder man. God be with you always, my friend.

Just found one of his lessons 2 days ago for a small gig I had today and didn’t realize he passed away. Truly saddened about Steve’s passing, loved his tone and playing and I’m thankful that even after his passing, Steve still helped me properly learn a song. This truly hurts, RIP Steve

Oh my god. We all thought it was a technical fault. I am so so sorry many of us have never met Steve in person but with his Regular shows it felt like he was living next door to everyone. This young man started me playing my guitar after 35 years he gave me so much help with his recommendations about his love of playing. Everyone looked forward to his lockdowns it kept everyone going and something to look forward to. Steve you will truly be missed such a talented young man happy to make mistakes on air but always laughed it off. I send my best wishes to his family and the guys who worked with him and to all the followers like me who looked up to Steve for inspiration. It is so shocking that this takented young man has suddenly passed. I am sure many of his followers who are shocked by this news would wish to understand what happened so suddenly- was it Covid?
Steve was the best friend that i never knew or met we had the same mother and father not biology ,Music was the father ,mother was the guitar, he was the brother of musicians all over the world thanks to UA-cam so young so much more to give cannot describe how unfair this is ,a real kick in the "feels"
