Awesome and easy tutorial for lowering man! I really need to pick some of those paperclips up instead of using pieces of brass lol thanks for sharing man!
Thank You Jake! Yeah the sheath from the paper clips makes it super simple, I will do another one soon using the same method showing how to camber the wheels!
Great job Dee Mo, top notch episode. 👏🏾 Somehow I missed episode 2 so I'll go back and look for that. What's the plan for episode 3? If you haven't firmed up what next, can I suggest you illustrate installing a brake and caliper kit. Looking forward to it
Thank You! Next episode was going to be camber and then the final episode will be slamming your hotwheels! I personally do not caliper and rotor kits unless it's high end wheels that come with them. I can definitely show that in the slamming video as I can do one example with real riders and another with high end wheels like Sakura, Chisaii, Skalwerk etc.
Awesome tip with the paper clips, truly is amazing seeing all of the different methods for lowering our diecasts, will need to give this a try. Just a quick question, maybe this will probably be discussed in a future video or not, but, would you have any suggestions how to shave a metal base? Would it be the same as if it were plastic? what would you recommend for the sandpaper grit? thanks again.
I will do a video in the future for absolutely slamming the car which does require shaving the base. For plastic base mainlines sandpaper works well, for metal bases I use a flat metal file, I grabbed it from Lowe's for about $10 I believe. Works GREAT! I will definitely show that in the slamming video, stay tuned!
Heck yeah Dee! Great tips on lowering & swaps. Great choice premium yellow FD keep em coming.
Thank You Mark! Will do, I will still have a camber vid, slamming on real riders and slamming with high end wheels coming!
