    Would have loved to see a stylist with such amazing natural hair texture and style demo on a woman with hair texture similar to her own. These techniques aren’t for some black women who wear our natural hair. No shade, really enjoy these segments just mho. ✌🏾

      That was my exact thought while watching this. It's so rare to see hair styling tips for African American natural hair on these types of programs.

    I don't know but I found it refreshing to see an African American stylist with completely different hair texture teach me how to put texture in caucasion hair. Very helpful.

    When I put my hair in a ban like that, next day I get super defined, gorgeous waves, looking like I used curling iron. The model's hair looked more like she hasn't combed it 3 days. That is definitely a fail.

      I agree - I think both styles just looked messy, not casual especially the second one - This is a total fail and the stylist is trying to convince us it looks good - Plllleeeease we are not blind

      I disagree. I thought the first model’s hair looked gorgeous although I doubt it was left in all night.The second model’s hair I didn’t like as much, but I do know a lot of young girls and adult women who like that kind of messy look.

    For all the people mad about the host and stylist doing peoples hair who have a different texture; what about all the Male OBGYN's who ladies go to for female anatomy issues or giving birth? We all have different expertise, calm down..

    GOD bless you Peter said to them, Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38) There is no salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. But God shows his love for us, that when we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans, Chapter 5: 8) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans, Chapter 6:23

    I actually have a problem with this presentation. Think about it.... why in the hell are black women demonstrating good hair idea ( styles) on white women? I’m sorry this is all wrong. Instead they need to be presenting good “protective styles” to women that actually look like them and have textured hair not the other way around. I’m offended

    • @juanitasimmons3592

      Cdra Majdoub Exactly!. I'm watching this like WTH??? This is dumb

    • @hgib3
      @hgib3 6 років тому +3

      Cdra Majdoub , if Janet is a hairstylist then she should be able to work with any hair type (not every stylist knows how). What difference does it make if she is black or white? It should only matter if she is good at her job. I would love to see how she does black hair though but I doubt the segment would be referred to as fuss free with the moisturizers, sealing oils and such.

    • @Sophiesue1989
      @Sophiesue1989 6 років тому

      I’m sorry but this is something that you will never understand. So I don’t except you too. These are hairstyles that are not meant for black women so it’s confusing for those that aren’t their conscious to what’s going on to understand that this is completely backwards. But yes I get what your saying but it’s wrong to present this idea to the public. Being that black women had to cover their hair in the presence of white women while styling white Women hair. And appealing to a white audience like OK well this black lady is doing my hair and nothing else matter but our hair. So completely backwards it should be a white women doing white hair period

    • @deannagonzales2784
      @deannagonzales2784 6 років тому

      Cdra Majdoub I thought the same thing. When I go to a hair dresser I always look for a woman with hair like mine. Fine and not much there hair. When I have gone to hair dressers with thick she over layers my hair. Not that any good hair dresser can’t learn how to do anyone’s hair I’ve just had bad experience.

    • @kellyannr4171
      @kellyannr4171 6 років тому

      Cdra Majdoub read my mind why don’t you! I’m insulted and disappointed with this segment. I’m done with these people. I certainly won’t be clicking on any of their videos in the future.
