The outro with Chino's melancholy melodic clean singing combined with Randy's brutal and angry screaming is the perfect representation of the contrast in emotions that capture the tragedy that this song was born out of. adler is way more complex than joey, i used to be a die hard joey fan back in the days because of his speed, but after years i found out that joey has less patterns and fills and he use them over and over again, he doesn't bring something original like Adler does, that's my opinion.
anyway they play different, Adler is more technical and rythmic imo, not as fast as Joey, not because he couldn't play fast but it's not his style and i like it more, i like more fills using ride than repetitive snare over the 200-240 double pedal drumming, i'm a huge slipknot fan the old one, all hope is gone is one of my favorite album from my playlist, and it is there mostly because of guitars and corey.

This song comforts me. What a masterpiece, although no masterpiece is worth the loss that is the driving force behind it.
