I got lost in mountains some time ago. after few minutes of wandering around i found shepherd with small group of sheep. when i asked him where we are, he replied "Monster Hunter Wilds main theme". i knew what he meant instantly - this is peak.
I just cried reading all the comments on the “Nay! The honor is all ours” video, so yeah I agree. This game, this feeling, this community is magic. It’s always mental to see so many people united by something like a game, but I swear when it comes to MH there’s something special about it: maybe it’s the common feeling of belonging to something great, the fact we’re all together against the wilderness, and the realisation we might, one day, find each other in the same hunt without even knowing.

That title theme really gives me that vibe that the devs are looking at this game like they're finally able to make the Monster Hunter game they've always wanted. Like they're looking back on this and saying, "We've done it! Our Monster Hunter!"
monster hunter themes are all like this. each and every one of the games the MH team has made, have been made with pride and passion. and that is always reflected in the music. i was honestly worried that wild's theme wouldn't hold up to the standards of every other main generational theme, but just as all that came before it, this piece forces a smile out of me.
that line is so badass. imagine in the future we hear "The Eater of Elders, Nergigante has returned! Commencing the hunt, by the order of the guild!" this would get me so hype

For complex personal reasons I wont be able to play this entry I wish all the hunters an immersive and memorable 1000 hours of their life time spent on this game

Anyone else think the theme is mirroring the stages of the weather cycles in Wilds? 0:00 Fallow. It sounds quiet at barren at first, even a bit somber. Not a lot of momentum. But still beautiful, as nature is. 1:25 Inclemency. Things start to pick up and become chaotic and dangerous. Especially at 2:05, this part conveys the harshest side of nature. 2:18 Plenty. It sounds triumphant as nature springs back from the harsh weather and life abounds. Think of the first trailer, where this part plays when the storm clears and we see the Windward Plains transformed. It has similar "Proof of a Hero" vibes as well, as if it's reflecting both people and monsters going "Yes! We made it through the storm!" Was this intentional? Who knows. But that's how I'm interpreting the music. I think it's awesome either way.
I’m so ready for this game to blow me away. My heart was and is completely wrapped around world and this game seems like it’s going to give me the exact same feelings as playing world. I can’t wait for the memories I’ll make playing this game and its inevitable expansion along with all you other hunters

The ticking clock sound in the background only solidifies my theory that the forbidden lands are stuck in some kind of time loop, which is how the land is replenished after the storms end.
@@DustedArchivist not quite a time loop... something much more interesting. I won't give any spoiler details but there is certainly something going on behind the mechanisms of the forbidden lands... but it's not quite supernatural.
That bit from 0:48 to 1:20 reminds me so much of the DA: Inquisition Trespasser theme with the flavor of Monster Hunter and it's beautiful. This game is going to be absolutely insane.

Subtle is the last word I would used to describe this. The first one I would use is gorgeous.
This whole piece is very Proof of a Hero coded. There are many of the same progressions throughout the beginning and middle.
