After many dark en dull weeks, we enjoy some bright and frosty days. We are heading towards the shortest day of the year, nevertheless the theme of this video is lightness. To emphasize the light, I filmed high key (over exposure) and created a fairy like atmosphere. Hope you enjoy natures christmas lights too :). Merry christmas to all of you!

Our weather has been almost the same this last week Monique and I thank you for going out and taking this beautiful footage. During this winter it seems difficult to think of what are the good things to see outside in nature, you put together an illuminating concept of what to enjoy during this cold winter and see the bright lights in the best possible way whenever it shines. Bonsoir Monique, un résulat superbe et surprenant !!! Les effets en surexpositions sont magnifiques, il faut oser, tu l'as fait et c'est très réussi !!! On a plutôt tendance à accentuer les couleurs et augmenter les contrastes sur nos photos un peu trop claires... je n'ai jamais tenté volontairement ou involontairement la surexposition, car je considère ça comme une photo ratée et dans la mesure du possible je cherche toujours à corriger au mieux, mais là, toi ce que tu en as fait, volontairement, c'est tout simplement de l'art photographique et le résultat est au rendez-vous, c'est féerique !!! J'ai adoré !!! Merci et bravo pour ce lumineux et scintillant partage et joyeux Noël à toi aussi 🙏👏👍🎄

Hallo Jacques, het is inderdaad strijdig met ons gevoel van een goed belichte foto. Toen ik er eenmaal mee begon voor dit filmpje moest ik wel doorzetten want ik kon het niet mixen als ik halverwege bedacht dat het toch niet zo’n goed idee was. Gelukkig kunnen we tegenwoordig met digitale fotografie het effect al zien tijdens het filmen zodat het resultaat geen complete verrassing wordt. Groeten en fijne kerstdagen! Monique
