Unless you’re naturally very skinny (which there are people out there who are!) getting to that physicality can be extremely unhealthy, and when it’s pushed as the ideal body type, women who aren’t naturally thin may go to extreme unhealthy lengths to achieve it. As for the curvy ideal in the US, a lot of the “extreme hourglass” body types we see in the media are completely manufactured, whether due to plastic surgery, stomach surgery, or being rich enough to have personal trainers and nutritionists. While it’s okay to have preferences that you personally find yourself attracted to, I think we need to keep diversifying the body types we view as appealing in media. I’ve been seeing that more and more in the US, especially in clothing ads, but since I don’t live in Korea I have no idea if the same thing is happening in their marketing.

I like how they talked about how both images for the men were unhealthy, but I wish they had addressed that for the women, too. Unless you’re naturally very skinny (which there are people out there who are!) getting to that physicality can be extremely unhealthy, and when it’s pushed as the ideal body type, women who aren’t naturally thin may go to extreme unhealthy lengths to achieve it. As for the curvy ideal in the US, a lot of the “extreme hourglass” body types we see in the media are completely manufactured, whether due to plastic surgery, stomach surgery, or being rich enough to have personal trainers and nutritionists.
While it’s okay to have preferences that you personally find yourself attracted to, I think we need to keep diversifying the body types we view as appealing in media. I’ve been seeing that more and more in the US, especially in clothing ads, but since I don’t live in Korea I have no idea if the same thing is happening in their marketing.

One of my friends is into "BL," so I can just imagine her squealing with happiness if she watches this video with these two guys interacting. And then later, in her head, she'll make up hypothetical romantic senarios the two would supposedly have.
And since most BL usually has one being the "dominant one," and the other being the "shy submissive one," (not all are actually like that in real life), I can already imagine which one she'll choose to fit which role.
This is literally a grown man flirting with a teenage boy. It's weird and creepy. I love BLs, and I'm gay. But, it's weird how straight BL fans, and straight women in general, will label things like this "BL", even when it's inappropriate. What about a grown man "flirting" with and inappropriately touching a high school boy reads as "romantic", to you?

The American guy is saying some true stuff. Videos like this always put Kylie Jenner’s body as the “ideal” body in America but her body isn’t that common because it’s plastic surgery. I’ve heard many more people say they like Kendall’s figure and of course there are other types and preferences. Same with the man I know no one who has said their ideal type is a body builder doesn’t mean that all people don’t like that figure but just saying it’s unrealistic.
Kylies body isn’t unrealistic but yes few people in America have it. But it is common in places like west and South Africa. And right now the most preferred body by men and women is “thick”. But preferences usually aren’t real meaning that you’ll still like other things.
