Boxer Is Back

After 55 years, the original qilin statue that inspired Pacific University's Boxer mascot is home! Originally known as College Spirit, the Chinese statue came to Pacific in the late 1800s. It developed a storied history as a focal point of student spirit but ultimately went missing in 1969. Over the decades, replicas were cast, but the mystery of the missing Boxer was never solved - until now.
