So what the difference in the old Mesh Gateway which is white, and this new darker model? Yeelight Pro stuff don't publish anything useful for people to understand.
@@usub6478 I have the White model: YLWG01YL has both ethernet and wifi 2.4-5Ghz, and it connects to the BLE Mesh lights, I'm using M2 and M3 lights in my home with it. And its has Apple homekit supported out the box. And 1/3rd of the price of this new grey model. I can only think it's about how many lights the new model can support which is 150. The white unit is 100lights. For a single home 100 is I think reasonable.
@@michaeljarcher Yeelight and Yeelight Pro are a completely different ecosystem of lights (hence the different apps also). They are also not cross compatible so Yeelight hub (white) would not work with Pro lights and vice versa. The grey hub is for Yeelight Pro only and supports Matter while the Yeelight (white) one doesn't if I am not mistaken. It's really difficult to get information but Yeelight Pro lights are typically more powerful and are also used for both homes and commercial real estate (I had to go with commercial lights for my new home).
Which downlight model have fade in / out option ?

The white one is ruining on Wi-Fi only; the darker one gatway using BLE MESH is for Pro series which is the highest series of Yeelight .
