Was Kosem Sultan Really Kidnapped?

Was Kosem Sultan really kidnapped by Humasah Sultan and Safiye Sultan in the true history?
As we could see, Kosem Sultan was kidnapped in the end of Muhtesem Yuzyil Bolum 19 and this storyline was further worked out in Muhtesem Yuzyil 20. The Sad thing is as the original Muhtesem Yuzyil series with the live of Sultan Suleyman the Magnificent, Pargali Ibrahim and Sehzade Mustafa was more true to the original history and timeline, the writers of Muhtesem Yuzyil Kosem are trying to be more creative with the life of Kosem Sultan and Ahmet I. Maybe it is because there is much less known about Kosem Sultan, but it's a shame it is not more loyal to the history. The fact is that indeed the Ottoman Empire was at war during the Jalali Revolts and founded itself in hardship during this era fighting also against the Habsburg empire. but If we look realisticly to the history during that era, the Ottoman Dynasty was untouchable for the rebels, the few incidents where the Ottoman directly was involved in was by actions of the Janissaries, the direct troops protecting the Ottoman household.
So did Kosem, Safiye and Humasah sultan hold more power than the male Sultans being on the throne? In some circumstances this was surely true, especially during the socalled 'Sultanate of Women' the women were ruling through proxy indeed, however it was not the case that they were in danger each time they left the palace for a simple trip. They were well protected and always kept their safety and protection was a first priority. Kosem Sultan was one of the most powerful women of the Ottoman empire and this was not because the escaped death every week, but because she was a master in eliminating her rivals and took over the complete control of the harem. I personally find it a shame that the producers of Muhtesem Yuzyil are making up stories within the Ottoman Empires history, the events that occured during this time are already worth of a movie and documentary with each major event influencing a large part of the world and the empire completely.
