I’m guess it’s a bunch of magnets. So when north and south are aligned it pulls the squares in and when the poles match it pushes the squares out?

I'm friends with the inventor of this on FB. I've seen his updates on this in the past 3 years or so. He also has a few of his other puzzles currently on the market to buy. While one of his other puzzles I've been following the development of it super closely in the past 4 years. I've been super eager to try it and haven't really heard about the proper release date until now. It should come out verry soon in the next few months. But for this OS cube I didn't really know he teamed up with Qiyi to get it produced until about a week ago I saw Qiyi post a photo of it on their FB page.
Are you allowed to tell us the method of solving it?
@@josiahkiehl510 Honestly IDK that super much about the solution of this puzzle. But I can tell you is that it has to do with Magnets. Magnets play a key rule in how this puzzle works. Since it has to do with how the magnets are orated when you do a move.

@@josiahkiehl510 It's loosely based off of one of the Inventers other puzzles. That has you twist around the puzzle that has magnets in it to get them all touching each other with the correct polarity.

QiYi just made a cube that looks like windows 11's logo and called it the "OS" cube
The designer's name is Ilya Os. The fact that they went with basically the same blue of Win10/11 might be more that coincidence tho.

it looks like when you do an r move the 2 back pieces on the right and left pop in or out and you can use that to solve it
The odd is the standard algorithm and even a loop doesn't make this cube back to its solving state but rather just solving the cupe from scatch like when we solfing a twisty without knowing any algorithm… Interesting!

ive been playing around with mine and figured out how to get the first layer but the last layer still throws me for a loop. I got the stickered one and the blue one to try and compare but it only shows that the same color makes the tiles pop out

My theory it is similar to a regular 2x2 except that the ones that stick out are the pieces which are not in a solved position, whereas the ones that are not sticking out are the ones in a solved position.
