QUESTION..........What went wrong that you did not finish the Pb(AcO)2? Did the acetate salt try to solidify like gel? Cause i had that trouble once trying to recrystallize some sodium formate. IF IF IF ... THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM then maybe you could put a little bit of AcOH in the water when you recrystallize it. That should stop it from solidifying into a gel when you recrystallize it.

hey John i figured the problem was the very high calcium contend of my tab water ... which precipitated my product as lead carbonate

    Lead chloride in aqua regia
    Dissolve or not dissolve ?...
(Nitric acid + Hydrochloric acid=aqua regia)

HAZEL............Yeah i am going around to all the channels that have great people and great videos like your channel. Then i am going to subscribe. Watch and like every video. And post great job. I gave up on my channel so i figure i will try to help other channels get some likes/views and etc.

@@HazelChem ........It is becoming more of an obsession than fun. I can never get back the momentum i had with my first channel. UA-cam deletes stuff cause of guide lines but refuses to tell anyone what the guidelines are. They delete my channels and they delete my patreon account. And i refuse to change what i post because youtube wants to censor everyone. So screw it. Who knows maybe when they delete all my channels again i will start another one up in a couple years.

DID YOU ADD WATER TO ACID!!! SHAME!!

The reason you're supposed to "add acid to water" is to limit any boiling from the heat the acid gives off when dissociating.
Since 37% HCl is already fully dissociated, there's no point in doing one rather than the other.
That rule only applies to concentrated strong acids like sulfuric, nitric and phosphoric acid.

science_and_anonymous HCl is not very hard. The most acids warm up!

ClickThisToSubscribe it is no problem to mix acid to water. The mixture warm up, but no explosion or other. But dont mix sulfuric acid with water!
