    Looks good and the trees appear very healthy.

      They are doing quite well even in this limited root space. Quite adaptable trees, really.

      It definitely tends more towards penjing style.

      Thanks Percy. I decided to press the pause button for the summer. I have projects I’m working on. Plenty of cool stuff to see when I press play again. 🕶

    Nice Larch forest. Like the pot and design. What was the FB page you visited for the pots? Thanks.

      Search “Bonsai Auctions” in Facebook groups. There’s two pairs of them in there that I engage in regularly.

      @@BonsaiEcho Thank you for the information. Have asked to join them. Looking for unique pots for repotting a few of our trees.

    will you be putting moss on the bottom to help with the moisture? left a like

    • @BonsaiEcho
      @BonsaiEcho  4 роки тому +1

      It has a full moss covering over the soil surface. Well, it does as long as the birds leave it alone.

      I have heard that from others@@BonsaiEcho . My birds don't seem to care.. maybe I have enough other garbage for them not to notice..

    Thanks Jared! I dug up a small larch next to Lake Michigan. Torn on how to style it. Natural or with some twists? Would love a forest but don’t have others that would complement it.

      I suggest going with whatever you see as natural growth from where it was collected. You’ll have something to reference and it will connect the feeling of the area with the tree in front of you.

    hi, I am tryng to plant ginko biloba and I just saw your video planting it. How are they, did all of them germinated already?

    • @BonsaiEcho
      @BonsaiEcho  4 роки тому

      None germinated. I may try again another time. Most likely not though. Too smelly and so slow growing from seed.
