I was listening to ‘A Dog in Hell’ by Here and Now earlier today. It’s on one of their earlier EPs and it’s a punky, rough, lo-fi, edgy sound. The evolution from early Here and Now to Fantasy Shift is huge. What a great band. My favourite band when I was a teenager.
Oh yes! I found myself drawn into the periphery of this meeting of creative madness and playing softball after the pub on a Sunday with members of Cardiacs and Here & Now and not quite believing what was happening. What a time.
me too - searched for decades. I have it on vinyl (somewhere - maybe lost) I remember when it was released - totally different to their hippie - punk Give and Take / Floating Anarchy / Dog in Hell etc. I saw this band a zillion times stoned .
