Today starts well with some super motivated drawing, but things go wrong later when I have a weird pain in my chest and then my shoulder decides to basically fall off again! This is the fourth time it has happened since September 2017. Perfect example of how unpredictable a day with EDS can be...
These are short, daily video journals showing my chronic illnesses and how I live with them as a disabled woman in her 20s. I'm a wheelchair user with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), digestive problems, gluten and lactose intolerance and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS).

Every time I watch your videos, I'm surprised by the maturity with which you take your illness. It is a pity that it does not work like a cold that is removed with medicine. but still you continue taking your status as a warrior. good honor to whom honor deserves, your friend and admirer say goodbye for the moment.

Be very careful having someone inexperienced trying to get your shoulder back into place. You have a giant web of very important nerves near your shoulder (the brachial plexus) and you do NOT want to mess that up (look up "brachial plexus injury")

Hatty, do you see a cardiologist? You need to address that pain in your sternum, you know about the dangers of aortic disection; you should consult with a cardiologist

Great idea! The t-shirt was a gift from a friend. It really makes me feel more proud of my struggles with EDS (e.t.c.) and it opens up conversations about it. Hope your son is managing well

He has dyspraxia as well as many other hard to diagnose autistic traits. We've been through every health specialist so I recognise your struggles x
