The Naughty Fox! I will 100% agree with you on this choice. One of my absolute favorite restaurants; casual, great service, great view, and the food is amazing.
Avalon used to be very touristy and with that of course, very inflated prices. I was also wondering if it was because of Covid or just a slower time of year that it wasn't looking totally crowded. Thanks for answering that. I'm glad you actually stayed there overnight and didn't rush your visit by arriving & leaving on the same day and really got to enjoy everything more by staying longer.
The ferry will take you there and back free on your birthday plus you get free ice cream cones and other birthday freebies on the island. You'd be surprised at the wonderful spreads people put up on the kayak access only beaches on the island. Visit the Zane Grey Inn which is awesome with a saltwater swimming pool.
LOVED going to Catalina! The only thing I didn't like was getting sick on the ferry ride there LOL! And from what I have heard, that's a common occurrence.
The food at the naughty fox is fair, but Steve's steak house blows it out of the water. My personal favorites: Avalon Bluewater (cioppino) and the Buffalo Nickel, just up the road at Pebbly Beach.
Steve after the Mexican series in LA can you do a breakfast LA series. Are there Any good bagel 🥯 shops. Not sure if you did this all ready before I started watching ☆
Holy catfish! That's lots of good food! I'm wondering if all the dishes you had were influenced by Honolulu Chef Sam Choy... kind of looks like the dishes he makes. A long, long time ago I used to be an Avalon resident, loved it, miss it.
all of the information given was on their website...and it seems like is not a lot of restaurants there but I'm kind of wondering why you picked this restaurant as far as I can tell they all basically have the same thing they all basically have the same ratings and none of them show prices on their websites and you also didn't show prices on your video... there are three different restaurants that have the BLTs with lobster and they all get it from the same supplier and I would love to know the difference between the restaurants and why this one was your pic
How come you don't showcase any food from the filipino, Japanese, or Chinese areas like Chino Hills or Walnut? Here I'll help you. Try Ojiya sushi in Chino Hills. A hole in the wall gem.
That is why the website link is included in description. The prices change due to inflation and would be outdated now. I suggest you look it up if you are serious about going there.
