Big tip, don't stick to walls as the aim in time is longer, and scope glint is there before you aim. Simply stay back from wall a little, pre-aim and then when you pop up to take a shot, it's significantly quicker and the scope glint doesn't give you away before you take the shot. I do this in all cover based shooters and it works like a charm every single time.
I genuinely love how they have changed semi auto rifles in this game, they now have the same damage as bolt actions instead of the pea shooters we are accustomed to in all the other se games minus 2005, but for me the karabiner 98 kurtz will forever be my rifle of choice great video as always dude ❤️🤙
Yeah, I was really surprised. I've always used bolt action in past SE games but this one the Semi just put in work. You just need to make sure all your shots are gut to head and you're good.
Something I've noticed that the game doesn't seem to tell you. When you're aiming in first person your weapon always seems to have perfect accuracy (with the exception of wind and drop of course.) Because of this I wouldn't worry about the spread accuracy stat on your rifle since it won't come into play unless you switch to the over the shoulder view, and if you're letting the enemy get close enough to need that aiming view while carrying a sniper rifle then you're playing the game wrong. With this in mind I also recommend the m1911 over the nambu since with the right mods it's even quieter and can equip a scope, making silent headshots incredibly easy to pull off at mid range. If they're wearing helmets you can take armor piercing ammo if you really need it, but with perfect scoped in accuracy I never had any trouble shooting around the helmet, either in the face or the back of the neck.
You're 100% correct that in 1st person you've 100% accuracy but you'll still be effected by recoil on smgs & wind / bullet drop on long range shots. I personally didn't care about scope on pistol since I only used it for 75M and under shots besides using some pistol ammo instead of smg ammo when smg ammo was low. For many though the M1911 might be the better choice. I actually did a game getting golds for pistol and put on a scope and it was just headshot after headshot. I didn't struggle with the nambu getting headshots but if you're struggling the M1911 would be a solid choice. In order to make it quieter though you'd have to sacrifice the biggest selling point for taking the m1911 over the type14 it's damage per shot when you miss the headshot. The type 14 fires faster, equips faster, aims faster, has longer range for stealth headshots, allows for 5% faster sprint speed when needed to move to new area quickly & does basically e everything the M1911 does better besides damage and scope option. I still think it's a great other choice but I'd highly recommend not removing it's biggest selling point (high damage) if you're going to use over the type 14.
Is that true even at long distances, and on authentic difficulty? I've been using the M1903 with long travel trigger, when it might have been better to fit the match bolt for the extra muzzle velocity. I'll have to test it with maybe the Gewehr vs the SREM kitted out to have similar muzzle velocity/zoom etc. For pistols, everyone will like something different, depending on play style. For me, anything with an audible range above 20m with standard ammo is a firm no, whatever it's other stats are. I love the M1911. Others won't.
When Sniping, I like to specialize with sniping. Pick people off at long range and use my smg or sidearm if needed. With that being said, I find spread accuracy to be almost useless unless I’m using an smg or something where Im with an over the shoulder view. Same with fire rate, to an extent. Im not usually firing multiple shots in quick succession while sniping, if im in an “oh crap” moment like that, ill run and hide or use a secondary.
Gewehr 43 Long Mag And go for Rate of fire 100% the best sniper Mid: PPSH Mid: Drilling Mid: Tommy Gun Pistol 08 with drum mag the sillencer with the tape and a little bit other stuff
I use 1903 sniper(would be G43, but they screwed it over in the scope department) with A5 scope then replace it after unlocking M84 and keep that, Stargauge barrel after it unlocks and stock until then, Moore-1 Suppresor, standard magazine as I find the plus 2 shots more useful than a minute damage and muzzle velocity boost, Leather Pad stock, and match bolt. This murders anything past 100m if you're even a half decent shot(as in aim for mid torso where the liver kidneys stomach are and low shots tend to hit intestines so a safe lil backup source of kills). I also use the MP44, but have it setup as a marksman rifle I can fall back on in light shootouts so- ZF4S scope, Precision Rifling Barel for easier 3rd person shooting, Modded Bramit suppressor, Marksmen Mag for aim stability and 3rd person shooting ease, Walnut Stability Stock for same reasons as magazine, Aim Tape X6 for scope stability, and the standard receiver so I can keep the gun under control if I do happen to be in a firefight. This takes out enemies under 90m where 1903 is too loud. Then the P08 pistol with overpressure reciever->standard mag->& SS Suppresor, or 1911 with .22 conversion->Overpresure Mag->& OSS III Suppressor(Foxley Mk2 if you have wolf mountain). Either set up after those unique upgrades as a little marksman carbine with the Fixed frame stock on both as well as Overpressure barrel and Adapted PU scope(I play on Authentic so the other is just same zoom with more downsides). These setups are ok in 3rd person up close, and good for quiet kills under 40m where the MP44 is too loud. Of course under 26m with P08 or 21m with 1911(20m with Foxley MK2) you should use the knife.
Pretty similar to my loadout. On my M1903 I just fit the bayonet (Jager melee), A1 or A2 sight, and laminated beech construction. This setup without a suppressor is so stable you can easily headshot anything under 300m without even bothering with empty lung. Subsonic ammo deals with anything in the 40-135m range, and it's easy enough to headshot at that range even with the lower muzzle velocity, so I find the bayonet has more of an upside. I go for slightly more power than you with my MP44, but I only really use it when I've already been seen and need to get out of trouble. I'd use my 1903 with subsonics in the range you'd switch to your 44. I find it a lot more stable and consistent, with fewer shots fired. The 44 will be quicker though, and SMG ammo is everywhere. I like that the Hub L41 suppressor on the 44 doesn't sacrifice damage, and it's still quiet enough for how I use it. Overpressure mag for damage, precision rifling (obviously), and light bolt for improved fire rate for very little extra recoil (optional). It's a good balance between power and controllability. I customise any SMG the same way - start by setting everything for maximum accuracy/stability, then add an OP mag for a bit more power, then pick whichever suppressor doesn't sacrifice damage, even if others are a bit quieter. I stick with the M1911 pistol, purely for the lower audible range. The P08 is a close second though. I'd pick the Welrod over any of the others. Same as yours, except with the Lightweight 712S stock. I almost only ever use it for scoped headshots, so aim stability gets priority over spread accuracy. Fixed frame is way better for 3rd person though.
Cool. When it comes to my Rifle load out I like having AP ammo for certain occasions such as walls or vehicles I need to get through, and Match ammo for extreme range shots. Admittedly long shots are rare but "rather have it and not need it" as the saying goes. As for the scope I find the A1 & 2 are just too much 90% of the time, and the 6x on M84 is enough(just enough) even at 600m for me. I keep the MP44 weaker and lower ROF so that bloom in 3rd person, and scope jump in 1st is easier to manage. In exchange I don't mind putting a bullet or 2 more in targets than your setup requires since the ammo is abundant. Plus I often wind up using the pistol at ranges I should be using it for the better scope so...it kinda winds up unused many missions. lol I chose the pistol stock I choose less for 3rd person accuracy and more for I don't find the other any more stable so I'll just take better 3rd person spread if I'm not noticing that 2cm sway difference while aiming.
The M1903 is better than SREM-1 because you can move and scope in faster with the 1903, especially when you prioritize sound to around 60M while keeping velocity and damage high to counter bullet drop. The 1903 will have slightly less velocity and rpm but higher damage and faster aim time. This is important for me since I play with invasion on and the M1903 fairs much better when you are counter sniping. M.Pist44 + 2x scope with 500+ velocity is just unbeatable. Lastly, the m1911 with the scope and .22 conversion is not even debatable because it has extremely low sound and high rpm for follow up shots.
I actually didn't factor in axis invasion as I figured most people playing hard or authentic for 1st time wouldn't bother with having it on but if I had it on, I'd take the 1903 too.
The M1911 makes the best pistol, it is quiet and scoped, it's almost as good as being a secondary sniper rifle. It's really fast in getting your Ghost Kills.
Good comp but it’s not the best. Press “Toggle Stats” to see what’s actually changing. Anyway try the karabiner + mag from hitler dlc, hits like a truck, amazing muzzle velocity (which is the most important attribute in authentic imo mitigating gravity and wind negatives) and it can become as silent as 50m. M1A and 1903 can have similar setups. I’ve built the quietest gewehr and basically snipped everyone unnoticed in authentic. Imo 5 out of the 6 rifles are amazing if done right.
Yeah but many times they can hit but not kill and the enemy can fire again before you can. I like that the SREM can hit two targets close to each and go back and forth hitting them both twice, and not let either get a shot off after alert. The more enemies shooting at you at once in authentic the harder it gets, real quick. The SREM for me fired at a rate to made killing quite easy regardless of the reduced power. It also aims quicker when in full cover which was perfect for hardest fights. I agree all the riffles are pretty good and others reading should try others too to see what they like best. Personally for me for authentic, I feel the SREM was best.
Hits like a truck, but I hate how unstable it is. I know you can use empty lung, but I don't like having to do that for every single shot. It's loud as hell too, which restricts you quite a lot if you like to play with a bayonet fitted (which you really need if Jagers get in close). It's awesome if used right (as is the SREM, for different reasons), but the M1903 is my go to. I don't really like any of the other 3, but we all play different and they just don't suit my style. I might give them more of a chance at some point though.
Funny story, hitler hated the AK precursor to the AK patter rifle. He denied its development. His engineers camouflaged it as a sub-machinegun. Germans called sub-machineguns Machine Pistols. This is why the intermediate rifle cartridge MP44 is named Machine Pistol 44... to lie to Hitler. Kind of fun if you meditate on the story.
Speed isn’t as necessary if your damage is high and your aim is good. If it says “recoil” on a rifle that isn’t semi-auto then IGNORE IT. Using the Springfield is much smarter in general because it’s stopping power is beyond substantial for that one-shot and can be fast enough to follow up on a nearby enemy. The M1911 done properly has an audible range of 20m and does enough damage to kill an enemy with three or four shots to the chest while being even deadlier with a sight. The MP40 with the right build will clean up any enemy at close range without a problem. In all the StG is the only good gun in this load-out and isn’t even run optimally so I’d recommend expanding your horizons to include the best possible load-out for every gun before picking your favorite
45.acp is without doubt the best pistol in the game. when set up right you can hit targets at 200m . it's like a small quiet sniper rifle. I've completed whole missions only using the 45.acp
Atm finishing authentic but probably will finish tonight. Only 3 missions left but just did 2 in a row so hopefully I can finish now. I'll be taking a lot at the other modes when I'm done; probably tomorrow.

@@evandaniell6072 Maybe I'll do one later this week. Honestly being the invader was by far my least favorite mode. I never even got 100 kills because about 1/3 of games ended in disconnects or host not wanting to fight. Was going to do a solo authentic survival video but nobody really watched my solo hard run so didn't bother with that one either. Say because atm I'm debating being done with doing content on Sniper Elite 5 until DLC but I'll try to retake a look at axis invasion to see if unlocking all and testing seems worth the time.
If you want more authentic-dont care about stealth difficulty, you can use K98k. The gun can up to damage of 185 and has 1008M/s muzzle velocity. Making it 100% one shot anywhere unless the enemy is jaeger or above (tho jaeger still has 90% one shotted) and a relliable sniper in long range fights due to its muzzle velocity. Only complain i have is the sound coverage can up to 177m!, So get ready for firefight everytime
I don't find any fault with the 1885 50.-110 with it's single shot. It's the best one shot one kill over all the rest. I didn't have any problem completing missions with the 1885, the shotgun and the Wellrod. You don't need automatic for this game.
I agree its not needed. I beat game with both weapon sets. Personally I found the hardest fights easier to complete with the semi but its not NEEDED. After beating game couple times and knowing all enemy locations, I ended up using the 1885 for the zoom and power. You could go either way for sure but I 100% wouldn't recommend taking the well rod for any reason besides making the game harder for yourself.
I have finished the game for the first time and plan to re play it again for a few more times but - I DO NOT HAVE cross hairs in any of my scopes and I do not know why this is?
I've guides up for all the kill challenges. They're all actually quite easy. That rat challenge; just put game on very easy for 2 minutes, run to spot to plant bomb and hide around corner (sometimes dude comes to make sure to lay low in bushes). Feel free to do any difficulty; just saying for quick unlock it's super easy to not get alerted on low difficulty; killing anyone near him might eventually cause him to get alerted and not want to shoot bomb.
That revolver has a lot of knock down power but it is the worst for getting your Ghost Kills. You kill one thing and you've lost that ghost status. It takes forever to get your ghost kills for the gold medal.
@@Klouhs I'm almost always in the Assault category, rarely do I get into the stealth category. Siren is sounded, GOOD, that just means they'll come to me. Right now I'm trying to get the gold medal using the Pederson Rifle. Head shots at 100 yards with only iron sights is tough.
I was about to say, I applied for early access for season 2 and with all the content I've done on rebellion games and dozens of videos taking top spots, I was disappointed to hear they didn't provide but it seems season 2 isn't out yet. I never purchased any dlc for the game. Will be doing season 2 content though. Maybe, if they give me season 2, I'll see if they can throw in any weapons I didn't purchase for testing but as of today sorry no obviously no opinion.
@@ILapTheFlash ight. The Lee No.4 I reckon it’s alright. Decent fire rate and loading single rounds is amazing for authentic reloads not losing ammo. The 5 round in the magazine slot makes it so much better. Decent range too. I enjoy using it heaps
I only played mode a few times but id prioritize damage, fire rate, aim speed and velocity & try to take large magazine for sniper. Deprioritize movement speed while aiming, silencer, bullet drop, reload speed if taking large magazine.
For authentic: PU, lightened & blue, HUB 23, GEW98, Leather pad, Reinforced band, heavy bolt, standard construction For normal or hard, change scope to ZF4
Interesting loadout. Makes me wonder what your play style is like. I'm guessing a more "roll with the moment" style. Dealing with whatever may come, hence the fast reaction weapons. Interesting to see how others play. I'm a "constant save and load" experimental play style I guess. Trying to figure out the best way to tackle each situation. Therefore slow firing weapons are fine with me and I'd rather have the power. I could easily spend an entire day on just one map.

Atm, I was given season 2 by rebellion so already did 4 videos and now doing 2 more for all collectables workbench firepit and one for best loadout of other New sniper rifle. I will be back for later drops on season 2 to do content for that but not much more I can do for season 2. Would've had videos done on day 1 but somehow there was mixup and I was given a steam key instead of xbox and took couple days to get right key. Was just given review copy of strategic mind: spectrum of communism so will be covering that over next couple days then will be covering diablo 4 beta. As you can see, I do many games but generally only post new games and new dlc. I pick and choose but rarely do old content.
SREM-1 does not have low audible range. Other snipers can hit lower with better bullet velocity and damage. Effective range is lower sure, but the trade offs are generally worth it. With the Kar you don't need Soft Point it does plenty of damage already freeing up for Sub-Sonic or Match Grade depending the situation and it's base audible range can hit lower than the SREM with a good 12x scope in it's retinue. The meager additional firerate of the SREM isn't really enough to care about. If you want firerate and stealth the G43 has it covered with a slightly disappointing selection of scopes, but it generally doesn't matter and you're running a 5x scope anyway and the G43 has a high visibility 6x scope Model D pistol all the way, basic ammo piercing helmets. Hard disagree on this being the 'best' loadout like it's some sort of objective fact.
I never used special ammo on my authentic playthrough besides couple times putting on armor piercing to finish off a tank. It's really not needed and so annoying to switch too. To be fair I probably could've beat authentic with any loadout and this is just my preferred loadout so to each their own on the rest.
You don't get those scopes on authentic. Gewehr is 3x (which is worse than the MP44, although you get to use empty lung for stability). Kar98 is (I think) 6x, but it's also loud af, which you have to think about if you use a bayonet, and the scope shake is crazy. The down side of the Model D is it's too loud for stealth play, whatever suppressor you fit. You'd need to carry subsonic ammo, which defeats the point of using it. Customise an M1911 for silence and stability and the helmets don't matter. It's good enough that you can hit the neck or the face, and doesn't come with any other drawbacks. P08 is similar, but not quite as silent. It's all personal preference though.
@@DeletedScenes312 I 100% agree that trying to use the Kar with Bayonet is CRAZY....1st scope shake as you said is Terrible...2nd 9/10 times, melee kill will get you almost down or down in authentic. M1911 though is definitely a 2nd option for pistol if you want one that has a scope.
@@ILapTheFlash How I use melee is usually things like hiding behind a doorway and whistling to get them to walk towards me. Sometimes you'll get seen just as they get to you, but still in range to stab them. That's where I use the bayonet. It's a tactic I use a lot, which is why I like the backup. I'm not just running in and hoping for the best. It's all about tactics. What works for one person won't for someone else. I don't find myself needing match ammo, which is why I can carry the subsonic. The M1903 with 8x zoom, 9cm aim stability, and 970m/s muzzle velocity is just a great balance for how I like to play.
What glitch are you talking about? You can do without scope too. I've goten few 60-100ish meter stealth headshot 1 shot kills with iron sight on pistol. Not recommendeding this; most to all times I did was because there was an enemy I noticed quickly alone, too lazy to switch to rifle and too cocky knowing most likely I'm going to hit the shot. Definitely missed a couple shots though.
@@truckstick6224 ah ok. I agree it is. My playstyle is generally using smg at that range or rifle if knowing going to only alert enemies I can quickly kill without raising an alarm. I generally only use my pistol for quick up close kills and occasionally close to 50Mish stealth kills or to drop alarms without alerting too many enemies. I never really used a scope on any pistol testing due to my playstyle. I definitely should've tested but didn't and curious if you know; is there bullet drop on 100M pistol shots? I can't recall much bullet drop on some of my longest shots but my short term memory is much better than my long.
@@ILapTheFlash the longest pistol shots I’ve done personally are up to around 90-95. Easily could use a riffle and snipe at that range. I just haven’t really tried to get hit over 100 because it gets too hard to land a perfect headshot. Normally I’m using pistol up to 50ish meters every time but will bust it out at higher ranges if I want to save some subsonic ammo or if the riffle would be too loud for close enemies. Give it a try, it’s really good
@@truckstick6224 I believe all pistols have 40-60M so they "should" have significant bullet drop at 100M but thinking about it now I don't recall that bullet drop on the pistol. Might just be from how little I used it. I can kill much faster with rifle and smg. Honestly I just try to avoid setting off alarms and always have a vantage point that I know I won't get flanked too much and then kill all the enemies. Sure stealth pistol might be great but I usually play as aggressively as I can play without losing. If it doesn't have any bullet drop though at 70-100M that would be very interesting and useful for many other players.
Sniper rifle do mission 9 and keep restarting. SMGs put game on very easy and do DLC mission go to large house, save game kill all to enemies are slow to rush (almost 100 kills). Pistol, find spot you can get 1-3+ real easy, save game, repeat.

I agree it's good. Personally I prefer aim speed and fire rate with ability to 1 shot on well placed shots. It definitely though hits hard. The 1903 is definitely worth trying out for anyone reading this but if your playing authentic and keep getting shot when you pop shot from cover, try the SREM-1; it really shines at getting off quick shots.
Thanks for mentioning too. Had just got to mission 9 on authentic and thought about your comment and switched up for extra power for the 220M kill shot. Now I'm done with authentic besides doing the DLC. At 220M though it still took me two shots to kill him and pretty sure 1st shot landed mid torso.
@@gunstru I just used it for the one mission. Already beat DLC on authentic; done with game. I still feel the SREM is best for authentic. It can go back and forth between two targets, shooting and stunning or killing them. Sure sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 shots to kill an elite if I've bad shot placement but its ability to fire fast and aim quick helped with the hardest sections when I actually *needed cover. The 1903 is VERY Good and I'm sure the Kar is too is I gave it more of a chance than I did and I would've considered more if Sniper Ammo was a problem but its not. The SREM can fire at a rate that 1 V 1 on elites I can simply shoot anywhere on the body and as long as I keep firing they will die b4 my magazine is empty. Granted I 99% of the time go for high damage or kill placement but it stuns them and wounds if you don't get kill and you can fire again b4 they can fire, provided you fire 1st. I forgot too and actually did used the 1903 for the DLC too so if anyone wants to see the 1903 in action, killing Hitlers minions; I'll have that run up later tonight. 90 killed...Hitler had to be at top of castle.
@@ILapTheFlash Oh 100% I’d rather use the gewehr or srem but that’s just my personal preference but to each their own, my only suggestion is for someone to use a rifle they’re comfortable with and that suits their play style well. If you can safely take slower shots I’d def recommend them the 1903 or the kar but if you want faster shots the srem and the gewehr would be better options sadly I don’t see a place for the m1a carbine yet

In order to make it quieter though you'd have to sacrifice the biggest selling point for taking the m1911 over the type14 it's damage per shot when you miss the headshot. The type 14 fires faster, equips faster, aims faster, has longer range for stealth headshots, allows for 5% faster sprint speed when needed to move to new area quickly & does basically e everything the M1911 does better besides damage and scope option. I still think it's a great other choice but I'd highly recommend not removing it's biggest selling point (high damage) if you're going to use over the type 14.
Is that true even at long distances, and on authentic difficulty?
I've been using the M1903 with long travel trigger, when it might have been better to fit the match bolt for the extra muzzle velocity. I'll have to test it with maybe the Gewehr vs the SREM kitted out to have similar muzzle velocity/zoom etc.
For pistols, everyone will like something different, depending on play style. For me, anything with an audible range above 20m with standard ammo is a firm no, whatever it's other stats are. I love the M1911. Others won't.
I struggle to understand why anyone would pay any attention to spread accuracy when using a sniper at long range.
I miss Mosin Nagant rifle. The best rifle ever, in my opinion.

When Sniping, I like to specialize with sniping. Pick people off at long range and use my smg or sidearm if needed. With that being said, I find spread accuracy to be almost useless unless I’m using an smg or something where Im with an over the shoulder view. Same with fire rate, to an extent. Im not usually firing multiple shots in quick succession while sniping, if im in an “oh crap” moment like that, ill run and hide or use a secondary.

I use
1903 sniper(would be G43, but they screwed it over in the scope department) with A5 scope then replace it after unlocking M84 and keep that, Stargauge barrel after it unlocks and stock until then, Moore-1 Suppresor, standard magazine as I find the plus 2 shots more useful than a minute damage and muzzle velocity boost, Leather Pad stock, and match bolt. This murders anything past 100m if you're even a half decent shot(as in aim for mid torso where the liver kidneys stomach are and low shots tend to hit intestines so a safe lil backup source of kills).
I also use the MP44, but have it setup as a marksman rifle I can fall back on in light shootouts so-
ZF4S scope, Precision Rifling Barel for easier 3rd person shooting, Modded Bramit suppressor, Marksmen Mag for aim stability and 3rd person shooting ease, Walnut Stability Stock for same reasons as magazine, Aim Tape X6 for scope stability, and the standard receiver so I can keep the gun under control if I do happen to be in a firefight. This takes out enemies under 90m where 1903 is too loud.
Then the P08 pistol with overpressure reciever->standard mag->& SS Suppresor, or 1911 with .22 conversion->Overpresure Mag->& OSS III Suppressor(Foxley Mk2 if you have wolf mountain). Either set up after those unique upgrades as a little marksman carbine with the Fixed frame stock on both as well as Overpressure barrel and Adapted PU scope(I play on Authentic so the other is just same zoom with more downsides). These setups are ok in 3rd person up close, and good for quiet kills under 40m where the MP44 is too loud. Of course under 26m with P08 or 21m with 1911(20m with Foxley MK2) you should use the knife.
Pretty similar to my loadout.
On my M1903 I just fit the bayonet (Jager melee), A1 or A2 sight, and laminated beech construction. This setup without a suppressor is so stable you can easily headshot anything under 300m without even bothering with empty lung. Subsonic ammo deals with anything in the 40-135m range, and it's easy enough to headshot at that range even with the lower muzzle velocity, so I find the bayonet has more of an upside.
I go for slightly more power than you with my MP44, but I only really use it when I've already been seen and need to get out of trouble. I'd use my 1903 with subsonics in the range you'd switch to your 44. I find it a lot more stable and consistent, with fewer shots fired. The 44 will be quicker though, and SMG ammo is everywhere. I like that the Hub L41 suppressor on the 44 doesn't sacrifice damage, and it's still quiet enough for how I use it. Overpressure mag for damage, precision rifling (obviously), and light bolt for improved fire rate for very little extra recoil (optional). It's a good balance between power and controllability.
I customise any SMG the same way - start by setting everything for maximum accuracy/stability, then add an OP mag for a bit more power, then pick whichever suppressor doesn't sacrifice damage, even if others are a bit quieter.
I stick with the M1911 pistol, purely for the lower audible range. The P08 is a close second though. I'd pick the Welrod over any of the others. Same as yours, except with the Lightweight 712S stock. I almost only ever use it for scoped headshots, so aim stability gets priority over spread accuracy. Fixed frame is way better for 3rd person though.

When it comes to my Rifle load out I like having AP ammo for certain occasions such as walls or vehicles I need to get through, and Match ammo for extreme range shots. Admittedly long shots are rare but "rather have it and not need it" as the saying goes. As for the scope I find the A1 & 2 are just too much 90% of the time, and the 6x on M84 is enough(just enough) even at 600m for me.
I keep the MP44 weaker and lower ROF so that bloom in 3rd person, and scope jump in 1st is easier to manage. In exchange I don't mind putting a bullet or 2 more in targets than your setup requires since the ammo is abundant. Plus I often wind up using the pistol at ranges I should be using it for the better scope so...it kinda winds up unused many missions. lol
I chose the pistol stock I choose less for 3rd person accuracy and more for I don't find the other any more stable so I'll just take better 3rd person spread if I'm not noticing that 2cm sway difference while aiming.
I personally like the model D as it’s basically a gun with 100% AP round so you aren’t forced to use them as special ammo

The M1903 is better than SREM-1 because you can move and scope in faster with the 1903, especially when you prioritize sound to around 60M while keeping velocity and damage high to counter bullet drop. The 1903 will have slightly less velocity and rpm but higher damage and faster aim time. This is important for me since I play with invasion on and the M1903 fairs much better when you are counter sniping. M.Pist44 + 2x scope with 500+ velocity is just unbeatable. Lastly, the m1911 with the scope and .22 conversion is not even debatable because it has extremely low sound and high rpm for follow up shots.
I actually didn't factor in axis invasion as I figured most people playing hard or authentic for 1st time wouldn't bother with having it on but if I had it on, I'd take the 1903 too.
Fun fact: the m1a carbine is the quietest gun ( if you add a few attachments! )
The M1911 makes the best pistol, it is quiet and scoped, it's almost as good as being a secondary sniper rifle. It's really fast in getting your Ghost Kills.

Anyway try the karabiner + mag from hitler dlc, hits like a truck, amazing muzzle velocity (which is the most important attribute in authentic imo mitigating gravity and wind negatives) and it can become as silent as 50m.
M1A and 1903 can have similar setups.
I’ve built the quietest gewehr and basically snipped everyone unnoticed in authentic. Imo 5 out of the 6 rifles are amazing if done right.
Yeah but many times they can hit but not kill and the enemy can fire again before you can. I like that the SREM can hit two targets close to each and go back and forth hitting them both twice, and not let either get a shot off after alert. The more enemies shooting at you at once in authentic the harder it gets, real quick. The SREM for me fired at a rate to made killing quite easy regardless of the reduced power. It also aims quicker when in full cover which was perfect for hardest fights. I agree all the riffles are pretty good and others reading should try others too to see what they like best. Personally for me for authentic, I feel the SREM was best.
Hits like a truck, but I hate how unstable it is. I know you can use empty lung, but I don't like having to do that for every single shot. It's loud as hell too, which restricts you quite a lot if you like to play with a bayonet fitted (which you really need if Jagers get in close).
It's awesome if used right (as is the SREM, for different reasons), but the M1903 is my go to.
I don't really like any of the other 3, but we all play different and they just don't suit my style. I might give them more of a chance at some point though.

This is why the intermediate rifle cartridge MP44 is named Machine Pistol 44... to lie to Hitler. Kind of fun if you meditate on the story.
Speed isn’t as necessary if your damage is high and your aim is good. If it says “recoil” on a rifle that isn’t semi-auto then IGNORE IT. Using the Springfield is much smarter in general because it’s stopping power is beyond substantial for that one-shot and can be fast enough to follow up on a nearby enemy. The M1911 done properly has an audible range of 20m and does enough damage to kill an enemy with three or four shots to the chest while being even deadlier with a sight. The MP40 with the right build will clean up any enemy at close range without a problem. In all the StG is the only good gun in this load-out and isn’t even run optimally so I’d recommend expanding your horizons to include the best possible load-out for every gun before picking your favorite
45.acp is without doubt the best pistol in the game. when set up right you can hit targets at 200m . it's like a small quiet sniper rifle. I've completed whole missions only using the 45.acp

Honestly the setups for the other modes are pretty similar besides survival where I’d say to prioritize damage/RoF above all.

@@evandaniell6072 Maybe I'll do one later this week. Honestly being the invader was by far my least favorite mode. I never even got 100 kills because about 1/3 of games ended in disconnects or host not wanting to fight. Was going to do a solo authentic survival video but nobody really watched my solo hard run so didn't bother with that one either. Say because atm I'm debating being done with doing content on Sniper Elite 5 until DLC but I'll try to retake a look at axis invasion to see if unlocking all and testing seems worth the time.

If you want more authentic-dont care about stealth difficulty, you can use K98k. The gun can up to damage of 185 and has 1008M/s muzzle velocity. Making it 100% one shot anywhere unless the enemy is jaeger or above (tho jaeger still has 90% one shotted) and a relliable sniper in long range fights due to its muzzle velocity. Only complain i have is the sound coverage can up to 177m!, So get ready for firefight everytime
I don't find any fault with the 1885 50.-110 with it's single shot. It's the best one shot one kill over all the rest. I didn't have any problem completing missions with the 1885, the shotgun and the Wellrod. You don't need automatic for this game.
I agree its not needed. I beat game with both weapon sets. Personally I found the hardest fights easier to complete with the semi but its not NEEDED. After beating game couple times and knowing all enemy locations, I ended up using the 1885 for the zoom and power. You could go either way for sure but I 100% wouldn't recommend taking the well rod for any reason besides making the game harder for yourself.
I have finished the game for the first time and plan to re play it again for a few more times but - I DO NOT HAVE cross hairs in any of my scopes and I do not know why this is?

Still have to unlock the machine pist. From kill challenge. They are annoying. Trying authentic tonight.
I've guides up for all the kill challenges. They're all actually quite easy. That rat challenge; just put game on very easy for 2 minutes, run to spot to plant bomb and hide around corner (sometimes dude comes to make sure to lay low in bushes). Feel free to do any difficulty; just saying for quick unlock it's super easy to not get alerted on low difficulty; killing anyone near him might eventually cause him to get alerted and not want to shoot bomb.
That revolver has a lot of knock down power but it is the worst for getting your Ghost Kills. You kill one thing and you've lost that ghost status. It takes forever to get your ghost kills for the gold medal.

@@Klouhs I'm almost always in the Assault category, rarely do I get into the stealth category. Siren is sounded, GOOD, that just means they'll come to me. Right now I'm trying to get the gold medal using the Pederson Rifle. Head shots at 100 yards with only iron sights is tough.

I was about to say, I applied for early access for season 2 and with all the content I've done on rebellion games and dozens of videos taking top spots, I was disappointed to hear they didn't provide but it seems season 2 isn't out yet. I never purchased any dlc for the game. Will be doing season 2 content though. Maybe, if they give me season 2, I'll see if they can throw in any weapons I didn't purchase for testing but as of today sorry no obviously no opinion.

Interesting loadout. Makes me wonder what your play style is like. I'm guessing a more "roll with the moment" style. Dealing with whatever may come, hence the fast reaction weapons. Interesting to see how others play.
I'm a "constant save and load" experimental play style I guess. Trying to figure out the best way to tackle each situation. Therefore slow firing weapons are fine with me and I'd rather have the power. I could easily spend an entire day on just one map.

Atm, I was given season 2 by rebellion so already did 4 videos and now doing 2 more for all collectables workbench firepit and one for best loadout of other New sniper rifle. I will be back for later drops on season 2 to do content for that but not much more I can do for season 2. Would've had videos done on day 1 but somehow there was mixup and I was given a steam key instead of xbox and took couple days to get right key. Was just given review copy of strategic mind: spectrum of communism so will be covering that over next couple days then will be covering diablo 4 beta. As you can see, I do many games but generally only post new games and new dlc. I pick and choose but rarely do old content.

SREM-1 does not have low audible range. Other snipers can hit lower with better bullet velocity and damage. Effective range is lower sure, but the trade offs are generally worth it. With the Kar you don't need Soft Point it does plenty of damage already freeing up for Sub-Sonic or Match Grade depending the situation and it's base audible range can hit lower than the SREM with a good 12x scope in it's retinue. The meager additional firerate of the SREM isn't really enough to care about. If you want firerate and stealth the G43 has it covered with a slightly disappointing selection of scopes, but it generally doesn't matter and you're running a 5x scope anyway and the G43 has a high visibility 6x scope

Hard disagree on this being the 'best' loadout like it's some sort of objective fact.
I never used special ammo on my authentic playthrough besides couple times putting on armor piercing to finish off a tank. It's really not needed and so annoying to switch too. To be fair I probably could've beat authentic with any loadout and this is just my preferred loadout so to each their own on the rest.
It's always objective. Everyone has a different opinion on what's the best load out.
You don't get those scopes on authentic.
Gewehr is 3x (which is worse than the MP44, although you get to use empty lung for stability). Kar98 is (I think) 6x, but it's also loud af, which you have to think about if you use a bayonet, and the scope shake is crazy.
The down side of the Model D is it's too loud for stealth play, whatever suppressor you fit. You'd need to carry subsonic ammo, which defeats the point of using it. Customise an M1911 for silence and stability and the helmets don't matter. It's good enough that you can hit the neck or the face, and doesn't come with any other drawbacks. P08 is similar, but not quite as silent.
It's all personal preference though.
@@DeletedScenes312 I 100% agree that trying to use the Kar with Bayonet is CRAZY....1st scope shake as you said is Terrible...2nd 9/10 times, melee kill will get you almost down or down in authentic.
M1911 though is definitely a 2nd option for pistol if you want one that has a scope.
@@ILapTheFlash How I use melee is usually things like hiding behind a doorway and whistling to get them to walk towards me. Sometimes you'll get seen just as they get to you, but still in range to stab them. That's where I use the bayonet. It's a tactic I use a lot, which is why I like the backup. I'm not just running in and hoping for the best.
It's all about tactics. What works for one person won't for someone else. I don't find myself needing match ammo, which is why I can carry the subsonic. The M1903 with 8x zoom, 9cm aim stability, and 970m/s muzzle velocity is just a great balance for how I like to play.
Sniper scope on the pistol is a glitch. Can get easy 1 shot headshots up to 100m. With the suppressor it makes it impossible for enemies to hear
What glitch are you talking about? You can do without scope too. I've goten few 60-100ish meter stealth headshot 1 shot kills with iron sight on pistol. Not recommendeding this; most to all times I did was because there was an enemy I noticed quickly alone, too lazy to switch to rifle and too cocky knowing most likely I'm going to hit the shot. Definitely missed a couple shots though.

@@truckstick6224 ah ok. I agree it is. My playstyle is generally using smg at that range or rifle if knowing going to only alert enemies I can quickly kill without raising an alarm. I generally only use my pistol for quick up close kills and occasionally close to 50Mish stealth kills or to drop alarms without alerting too many enemies. I never really used a scope on any pistol testing due to my playstyle. I definitely should've tested but didn't and curious if you know; is there bullet drop on 100M pistol shots? I can't recall much bullet drop on some of my longest shots but my short term memory is much better than my long.
@@ILapTheFlash the longest pistol shots I’ve done personally are up to around 90-95. Easily could use a riffle and snipe at that range. I just haven’t really tried to get hit over 100 because it gets too hard to land a perfect headshot. Normally I’m using pistol up to 50ish meters every time but will bust it out at higher ranges if I want to save some subsonic ammo or if the riffle would be too loud for close enemies. Give it a try, it’s really good
@@truckstick6224 I believe all pistols have 40-60M so they "should" have significant bullet drop at 100M but thinking about it now I don't recall that bullet drop on the pistol. Might just be from how little I used it. I can kill much faster with rifle and smg. Honestly I just try to avoid setting off alarms and always have a vantage point that I know I won't get flanked too much and then kill all the enemies. Sure stealth pistol might be great but I usually play as aggressively as I can play without losing. If it doesn't have any bullet drop though at 70-100M that would be very interesting and useful for many other players.

Sniper rifle do mission 9 and keep restarting. SMGs put game on very easy and do DLC mission go to large house, save game kill all to enemies are slow to rush (almost 100 kills). Pistol, find spot you can get 1-3+ real easy, save game, repeat.

Sorry but the 1903 is WAY better than the SREM 1. It has a 600m range, 1025 velocity, and 145 damage when upgraded. Most POWERFUL rifle in the game.
I agree it's good. Personally I prefer aim speed and fire rate with ability to 1 shot on well placed shots. It definitely though hits hard. The 1903 is definitely worth trying out for anyone reading this but if your playing authentic and keep getting shot when you pop shot from cover, try the SREM-1; it really shines at getting off quick shots.
Thanks for mentioning too. Had just got to mission 9 on authentic and thought about your comment and switched up for extra power for the 220M kill shot. Now I'm done with authentic besides doing the DLC. At 220M though it still took me two shots to kill him and pretty sure 1st shot landed mid torso.

@@gunstru I just used it for the one mission. Already beat DLC on authentic; done with game. I still feel the SREM is best for authentic. It can go back and forth between two targets, shooting and stunning or killing them. Sure sometimes it takes me 3 or 4 shots to kill an elite if I've bad shot placement but its ability to fire fast and aim quick helped with the hardest sections when I actually *needed cover.
The 1903 is VERY Good and I'm sure the Kar is too is I gave it more of a chance than I did and I would've considered more if Sniper Ammo was a problem but its not. The SREM can fire at a rate that 1 V 1 on elites I can simply shoot anywhere on the body and as long as I keep firing they will die b4 my magazine is empty. Granted I 99% of the time go for high damage or kill placement but it stuns them and wounds if you don't get kill and you can fire again b4 they can fire, provided you fire 1st.
I forgot too and actually did used the 1903 for the DLC too so if anyone wants to see the 1903 in action, killing Hitlers minions; I'll have that run up later tonight. 90 killed...Hitler had to be at top of castle.

If you can safely take slower shots I’d def recommend them the 1903 or the kar but if you want faster shots the srem and the gewehr would be better options sadly I don’t see a place for the m1a carbine yet
