Getting ddos’d like 5 times gives you PTSD lol
Bold and concrete project. keep pushing boundaries!
Always!
Thank you for this!
Good job. Learned a lot from your videos. Good luck on your Saas. በርታ

First off, great job putting this together. Did you use your starter template as a general base for the app? I'd be super curious to learn how the decision with no free trials works out.
Also It would be great if you do a video on the handling of payments and linking this to gating on the user Auth side. It's something I've had a fair bit of trouble with designing correctly (e.g. how to gate an app for a period of time under a free trial and ensure thata user's access is locked after a certain period of time)
Hey bro, yes... everything I build I use my starter template. I'm going to be pushing some updates to it very soon.
We ultimately decided no free trials after a bit of market research. We do give out free credits to someone who wants to try us out.
In terms of payments, I have a video in the works so stay tuned and for handling a free trail you would essentially let stripe tell u when the trial is over and track that in your db.

@@rasmic thanks g. and I'm hoping for your success with these emerging products
@@WillMcCartneyAI I appreciate u bro
Engineering aside, do you have a SEO content subject matter export on your team? Or do you consult out for this part of your business domain? How did you validate that your product/platform is truly doing what it claims to do?
Yes, we do have SEO experts working with us!
Hey man…great video…where do you host your flask and payment servers?
Hosting payments server: zeabur.com/
Hosting flask server on Heroku
@@rasmic thanks..I will check zeabur, did not know that one before
Interesting idea. I think it’s kind of weird you’re asking your customers to pay for your service AND to pay for openrouter separately. That would most likely be a deal breaker for me as a customer. I think users who aren’t super technical wouldn’t understand why they need to pay some other product just to use yours. Hope your project takes off. Good luck man
If we paid for open router than it would be too expensive and we couldn’t handle multiple users at a time
@@rasmic I understand. This seems like a good reason from a technical standpoint. I thinks it's probably a big block from a user acquisition perspective
@@Pharoxx105 It is tbh especially for a non technical person.
If you are deployed to vercel, and you're effectively using your nextjs backend as a proxy for requests to your flask backend, wouldn't your nextjs api endpoints still just time out (when you use it to send requests to flask backend)? Or am I misunderstanding something here.
Or are you just doing things asynchronously and not waiting for the flask backends response?
Precisely... You can make asynchronous requests from your Next.js to your Flask backend. This means your Next.js server won't wait for the Flask server's response before continuing execution. You can handle responses asynchronously, which can prevent timeouts.
@@rasmic that sounds very interesting if u find time and it is not top secret hah please do a video on it if u can. Amazing product btw, whish you all the luck
@@lev1ato thanks bro will do
If Vercel takes about only 10secs to process APIs and some requests are bound to take longer than that, will it still not affect it if you decide to still use NextJs APIs as a layer of protection?
