Love your stories Barra and would like to hear more about your NRL experience and your thoughts on comparisons between that and the AFL.
I must say I did laugh at your querying of political correctness during the last episode in light of some of your other comments which, let’s face it, have been very pc 😂

Glen do you lose apart of yourself, when they make you endorse the disgusting gambling promotion?

English can't be traded. H would be free agent. Bulldogs would hope to get a first round compensation. Busslinger could be part of Barrass deal.

The music industry in Australia is in Freefall, there is no support structure, venues are closing, people who were doing music for a career are leaving in droves for other careers making music more of a hobby. The big-name bands of the past don't exist anymore (at least in any significant numbers). There are no Aussie artists playing huge tours, The reason for not having Aussie entertainers is, other than pulling classic older bands out of retirement - the Aussie music industry is dead (or as good as) and there just aren't modern big-name artists around anymore.

There are still plenty of big Aussie artists and bands from the past (the 2000's and early-mid 2010's that are going fairly strong till this day. The newer ones are legitimately struggling as are the emerging ones for the reasons you stated but make no mistake we have plenty of talent from the not so distant past.

@@taliamason7986 There is a federal enquiry into why so many music venues are closing. People aren't making money from music anymore. 2000 / 10 is 14 - 24 years ago. Who are the big Aussie bands of today? I worked in the industry, and I can tell you people are leaving in droves, there is no money, industry or system anymore. Sure, you might get a couple of classic Aussie bands (if they are willing to reform or their members haven't passed or can still play). The truth is the once thriving Aussie music scene is gone.

@@taliamason7986I remember a small talking point about last year's AFL Grand final. Was Mark Seymour half-time performance, and bad it was. And considering the amount of praise Kiss and Robbie Williams got for AFL. Honestly I don't blame the AFL forgetting Katy Perry then.
