was my neighbours house.. not sure how old it was but I personally liked it a lot more than the new one they built.. needed a little love but had beautiful woodwork.. and yes the guy bringing it down was clueless.. was getting glass shards in my feet for at least 6 months after.. shit was flying everywhere
why isn't this guy pushing the trash in? once the boss see the landfill ticket this guy will be history. dirt and concrete shouldn't go to landfill.... $$$$ adds up quickly
gee not good why was it torn down just another monster home in its place? I mean the old house was neat our old house somewhat like this but also quite different was at 42nd and Gladstone after we moved out to Surrey I was in the area and went bye the old house aand saw it being prepared for demolition as a house I grew up in as a kid it was quite upsetting but I guess I saw it one last time. mind If I ask where this one was perhaps I actually recognize it and don't really know it I should add dorry about shaking camera comment I think someone got on my computer at some point and posted wierd comments i got a few replys to videos that I had not even seen like comments left by my profile but videos i had not seen but also strangely in my area of interest too
canadiancatgreen this was in north van, W15th and Jones area near Mahon Park.. the new place isn't bad but I liked the character and woodwork of the old place
What the HELL??? The house looks fine to me.... why destroy it.... Maybe it just needs little bit of TLC and it will be good as new.... I would have bought it for 5,000 grand even..... :)
mikey low $500000???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ouch!!! No wonder it is being demolished... At that price I would expect this house to be in a MOVE-IN condition not like this.
This looks like Vancouver BC. I don't know who the demolition contractor was, or what that machine operator was thinking, but this is almost embarrasingly funny to watch. I couldn't notice anything wrong with the exterior of that home, it just seemed a bit old and in need of a restoration. Now the interior may have had a multitude of issues such as mold infestation, etc. in which case a full restoration would have been necessary. For all I know, this was just an old run-down home with little to no major issues, probably built with asbestos fibreboard, basically in need of a major overhaul to restore its value. Given that it was an older home I guess somebody took a shortcut in literally just plowing that sucker to smithereens, no consideration to conducting a proper restoration, therefore releasing any potential asbestos fibres among other substances in to the environment. It was quite possible to make that house look good as new, but was not worth the extra work and cost in someone's mind. Someone thought it would be easier to just rip it down and build a new one, somewhat wasteful thinking.

Sounds like your neighbor is a more money than sence kinda guy poor house😦😢💔
That was an awesome house, with great personality. People are wasteful dumb asses. And this guy did a crap job on the demo.
I felt bad watching this. That house was a classic.

If you live in Australia and your neighbours house gets demolished they bored it up and be very careful when they demolish

Why weren't the newer windows and the glass, at least, saved to be recycled? Such a waste.

Have you really inspected the windows ..?
From the armchair, things may look better than they are.
