I'm not trying to hate but the bodypanels and fenders of most high end supercars in comparison to normal cars aren't made out of aluminum or metal, rather painted carbon fiber. Therefore in a crash I don't see a supercar crumble like aluminum foil, but rather the carbon fiber breaking or fracturing. After all it is stronger and lighter than metal.
