is splitting up and farming on your own more beneficial compared to sticking as a team and fighting camps/enemies together? I always just assumed this was some “higher elo” way of playing from these youtube videos but I was never sure why
it's an efficiency thing for sure. in an ideal world 4 players split up and effectively clear 4x the camps. this works out mathematically because even if you were to do only 1/4th of the damage to the camps (thereby doing it 4x slower) you end up hitting your level 2 and 3 breakpoints way faster which allows most hunters to powerspike in the *middle* of the doing the camp so they can take it faster. hopefully that makes sense. it's a good strategy when you have characters that are particularly good at soloing camps and ones that dont can just band up with 1 other hunter and it's no big deal. certainly better than 4 man dropping and moving slowly from camp to camp. the cons are obvious - you're at risk of getting jumped. this means that in a case where the singular con doesn't exist it is basically optimal to split up.

hey nidhogg, you can use the chonker while teleporting on top of the ennemies as void, it leads to pretty funny combos as no one expects it
