This is one of the few Animes, i will for safe buy everything from it. The japanese limited edition OST from evan call is already here :3 Probably the mage taking the photo with sein and gorilla is the same one that take the photo from fern and her parents, but its a guess.

Voll didn't forget because it's been too long, he's forgetting because his mind and memory are deteriorating due to old age. Frieren won't forget Himmel any time soon, we can see her memories of Flamme are still vivid after 1000 years, so we can be chill about that, in Frieren's point of view Himmel died like last week.
That being said i loved the section with Voll, this anime is always really good on giving us emotional moments, even with character that only have 10 minutes of screen time.
Assuming that he *has* lived 400 years, he is well over the normal lifespan of a dwarf. It's one of the first things I thought about when I saw the episode. And the dedication to his promise. I'd say that he maybe spent a good 50-60 years with his wife, if she lived a long life for a human of the time.
not to be THAT guy but Arwen actually gave up her immortality for Aragorn…so their relationship meant even more. she gave up the very thing that made her an elf for the man she loved. i believe she died a few years after aragorn died. from a broke heart 💔💔
Ya, the elves in LotR KNEW what their afterlife was, no one knew what happened to humans after they died except that they didn't go the same place the other races did. Arwyn sacrificed her immortality for the possibility that she would be reunited with Aragorn after death rather than living on in the undying lands for eternity without him.
