I do really like the skills and builds. I really like the clarity and conciseness of your presentations, good teaching skills! What I don't like at all are the "AF"s. Abbreviated cussing is still cussing because everyone translates it in their heads. I would love to share these awesome videos,, especially to other women and younger cousins. I can't endorse cursing. Your skills as a teacher and as craftsman speak loud and proud. Really! The other stuff really is not needed and does not reflect well on you or anyone around you.
Because we know UA-cam doesn't give this channel the respect it deserves don't wait for the notification. Sometimes it doesn't come. You know a solo overnighter drops every Sunday. You wait 6 days for it to drop. Simply go to the channel and look for it. Aside from new videos check the old videos for an incredible wealth of knowledge. I don't go to McDonald's for pizza. I wouldn't go anywhere else but Corporal's Corner for true bushcraft, techniques, and skills. 💪💪
Very Educational and let me point out that the Corporal is not just teaching bushcraft but also field craft.. the field craft is teaching us Forging and metal works. Thank you Corporal.
I know this video is a year old But I have so many questions questions about that knife things that weren't discussed I mean if you're gonna show how to make a knife give a little more details please. Like what is the consistency of the of metal are you able to harden it if so did you quench it Or did you just do an edge heat treat. Are you able to baton with something like this? Depending on the metal how sharp should you get it? I had a few questions Lol 🇺🇲 Thanks!
Longtime viewer and I hardly ever feel compelled to comment on UA-cam videos, but I just wanted to say that you providing such wisdom with these essential skills has inspired me to seek knowledge and to learn in every corner of my life, not just with bushcrafting. I would've never guessed casting bronze could be as accomplishable as you've shown here, especially in the field. Another exceptional class. Thank you sir, for everything that you do.
A repertoire of skills and a repertory of metal files are good things. These casting video's show us that thriving is not about buying stuff, the key is skill building. Thank you for presenting this concept in this manner. Priceless AF! Outstanding, sir
Not sure where to send a personal letter or DM to, so I'll post it here. Thank you. You have inspired me to improve my life and I have taken massive strides towards self improvement. Thanks to the inspiration of your videos, I finally contacted the VA and got approved for compensation (which was not something that I expected and has made family much easier over the past year) and am getting the help that I needed to actually move forward. I also finished my first year of college going for a degree that I thought I would never be able to afford. I am very grateful for your videos and your inspiration towards self improvement, even if it comes in inches at a time. Again, Thank you. I will always be grateful for your videos and I hope life brings to you as much as you have inspired me to reach for.
I appreciate you brother and have nothing but respect for you. As usual my granddaughter is sitting right beside me watching her man in the woods. At three years old she asked me if you had a home.
I cannot believe I have wasted so many years watching that Canadian flump in the woods, whilst I could have been watching the Corporal instead and actually learning a lot of things from you.🏴🇺🇸
Shawn, great job on the knife. I’m amazed at the skills you have and thank you for sharing your knowledge. Wow..cool AF. You don’t find this on the other channels. Keep up the great videos!
OK Kim, I am 74YO (LOL) and an engineer. In 1968, I did sand casting in engineering school. I am impressed; that is not easy in the woods! I watched the aluminum casting video and this bronze casting video. Very well done. BTW, it is easier casting lead bullets in the woods. I think our ancestors did that often. Nice work as usual Corp. Kelly!
another epic video! love the ingenuity this guy puts into all his videos. fun builds great food and good times! can't wait to see what you will dream up next!
Wow ! Impressed AF! I'm a bronze sculptor, and never would've dreamed that you could get a campfire hot enough to cast a blade ! You are the man...2000° man ! Outstanding marine !
Survival skills like these can be used in the back yard too! The Corporals' videos apply to urban settings when the power goes out, like what happened to me last july! We lost electricity for 4 days and i could have saved a lot of food from my refrigerator if i cooked outdoors! Thank you for teaching useful life skills!
I find myself liking the video before I even watch it, knowing that what's about to come is outstanding AF. Work hard in silence, and let the success do the talking!
Good job corporal . I am subscribed for over a year. Always watch and thumbs up your videos.. Thank you for your service. !! I saw a Planck at the rifle shoot in montana last week .. It read. If you want to thank a vet for Fighting for you be the kind of American worth fighting for. !!! Thank you Frank from montana...
Man, these videos are awesome! You melting down metals and creating something entirely different...I had no idea a person could do that in the field. I love my Sunday nights with the corpral. Never know what you may do next!
You've outdone yourself. Wow. First an aluminum frog catching hook to a bronze knife in a firepit. What more could I ask for. You are truly amazing. I really appreciate all you share of your techniques. I keep watching and sharing with others. Pearl
When you're so ready for a new video you miss the drop cause you were watching an old video. 😂😂 needed this weekly dose of CC. Gonna be out in the woods in Georgia next weekend and thinking I'm gonna try a few of your ideas out. As always thanks for making such great videos.
Hi. I, m not going to make a long story, all i want to say ist your video, s are brilliant,, enjoyable,, and super fun to watch😊. I usually sit and watch em with my grandkid of 8 years old, doesn, t understand all of what you say ( were in germany) i usually translate but his words were,, i wanna be like shaun when i grow up😊😊. If he manages maybe half of what you accomplish with buschcraft i.m one happy granddad so just want to wish you the best, come the vids comin. And thank you.... 😊👍👍
As an old Scoutmaster and Machinist you never fail to impress me with your skills and ability to teach in a video. Keep up the good work. And your food almost always triggers me.
I’ve done castings in a foundry, and always with sand, but never in a fire pit. I’m inspired to give this a shot. Thanks! PS - you could have made a bit of a shoulder at the end of the tang to prevent the blade from slipping out of the handle during use.
Yes sir another great one. Keep up the good work. An old friend told me that he learned something new each day, he said the day he did not learn something new would be his last . He lived to be 93. Thanks for keeping me alive.
This is Corporals Corner and today I want to make a jump from the Bronze Age, so we will be building an Abrams tank in the woods! This man is chaotic good. Love the energy, dude!
good job! Good video. And for those who think eating meat is so bad and humans were not suppose to eat meat, I have never seen a salad on any cave wall drawings. We have always eaten meat and if you try to stop folks it will not end well for you.
I just want to say I barely enjoyed this program I'm an old hand at woodson myself I can't do it much anymore because last October I had part of my left leg amputated so I'm wheelchair-bound and I cannot get in the woods anymore so I take pleasure from your program I just would like you to know that and for all them haters out there don't sweat them bro do what you do and you're bringing joy to people like me and all I can say is f them thank you so much for what you're doing
Hello Corporal. I love your videos. I'm Sgt. Johnson David A. my oldest son is a Marine. I hope you keep up the strength and patients to keep up the good work you are doing. I live in Quitman, Arkansas. You may not see this for a while but have confidence you will soon. Have a great and blessed journey brother. Thank you for your service.
Don't worry about people who are triggered. When you take the time to mention them during your videos, they get free air time. Keep on doing what you do. Rock On, Corporal.
Impressive, I think it came out great and enjoy how you're always innovating showing us something different each time. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Iron Age next up Shawn! We’re gonna need you to forge a bearded viking axe from ore you mined yourself, then use it to build a long ship to invade the other bush crafting channels…
I really liked this change of pace. It is cool to see you use the stuff you teach us in so many different ways. The knife came out great. Thanks for the video! See you next week!
Nice demo of melting and casting bronze. The Romans continued to use bronze for spear heads because it was cheaper. Today the most practical application would be making your own high precision bullets however. I enjoyed the demo thank you!
I’m triggered AF that people would be upset from you using the same location. It wasn’t a vid about finding a location. It was about Bushcraft tech. If they are triggered that their problem. You keep doing what you doing buddy!!!! We love ya. And if they don’t. Screw them!!!!
Entertaining AND educational!?! Yep. Gonna keep watching. Saw the video about your vindictive competitor. That guys channel is dieing. It's with Outstanding appreciation that I was able to view such an Outstanding video. Thank you for all your hard work. Didn't get the Push Note today but I know how to find you. Keeping up my support , have a great weekend

Iffy. It looked to get hot enough to be able to maybe pound out basic shapes, but you would have to work twice as hard to move the metal and it would get nowhere near hot enough for forge welding. hotter means metal moves more easily. Insufficient heat means you get stuff that is weaker, and you have to work harder to get there

Bertram craft and bushcraft has some exceptional forging, etc too. He hasn't posted for a while but his back catalogue is quite good.

The way you set up this shelter is very similar to the way that Vikings had their temporary shelters set up. Thanks again Corporal, another great one.

I already know the survival stuff, I'm just here for cooking tips.
Try cooking something us poor people can
Yeah but!! Bacon wrapped bacon!!!!
He had me at bacon.

I am very impressed. Casting bronze in a campfire can not be a simple task. Just impressive! Great video as always

Blessings bro..... Take us to where Bush craft.... Has never taken us before.... Outstanding AF.... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👊
That bronze knife is an outstanding piece of artwork!
Best wilderness teacher on UA-cam.
I camped this weekend. It was so hot and muggy that it sucked. I think until winter time, ill live summer camps vicariously through you. Great video!!

Six days into a 10 day self isolation due to Covid and your videos are keeping me sane.
As an old Scoutmaster and Machinist you never fail to impress me with your skills and ability to teach in a video. Keep up the good work. And your food almost always triggers me.
Another “Outstanding AF” instructional/solo overnight video, corporal! Thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Until next time…..
If I owned a TV network, I'd give you your own weekly show! Awesome content! Awesome AF!
I’ve done castings in a foundry, and always with sand, but never in a fire pit. I’m inspired to give this a shot. Thanks! PS - you could have made a bit of a shoulder at the end of the tang to prevent the blade from slipping out of the handle during use.
Loved the bronze age knife bushcraft. These last two weeks were a great change of pace.

Struth, well done Corp. That knife-making was brilliant AF. Thank you!
Personally I've enjoyed the "bushcraft technology" and would welcome more in the future.
Thank you sir
Don't worry about people who are triggered. When you take the time to mention them during your videos, they get free air time. Keep on doing what you do. Rock On, Corporal.
Pretty impressive results with a ghetto crucible, if I do say so myself. Outstanding work!
Outstanding AF! Knife is badass and that chow looked amazing too!!! Thank you!!
You are absolutely deserving of our respect no one doubts your commitment Shaun. Keep doing what you do
This is awesome. I especially like how built up on last week's video. Thanks Corporal!
nice use of gorilla glue too.
Next level and setting the standard with this one.
Impressive, I think it came out great and enjoy how you're always innovating showing us something different each time. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I love the education, thanks for the videos.
To be honest I found these last two bush craft technology videos very interesting, I hope you make more of them Corp.
Another one for the books! Outstanding AF. Well done keep theme coming. By the left quick march!
love your videos brother
Iron Age next up Shawn! We’re gonna need you to forge a bearded viking axe from ore you mined yourself, then use it to build a long ship to invade the other bush crafting channels…
Best comment I've read!😂
Being able to melt and/or cast anything useful in the wild is quite a challenge! BRAVO!
I really liked this change of pace. It is cool to see you use the stuff you teach us in so many different ways. The knife came out great. Thanks for the video! See you next week!
You should use that bronze knife as a 1 million subscriber giveaway

This pretty much blows every other bushcraft video out of the water in my opinion! Epic AF
You never cease to amaze. I always look forward to Sunday to see whats next. A real pleasure.
That knife is amazing for being made while camping!
Your videos are awesome very educational and fun so glad I found your channel it’s the most authentic one I’ve seen ,good work mate 👍
That is not easy that bow drill.

Nice demo of melting and casting bronze. The Romans continued to use bronze for spear heads because it was cheaper. Today the most practical application would be making your own high precision bullets however. I enjoyed the demo thank you!
