Today we are going to be planning out my new island, BooVille!
This island is going to be a cozy, fall, citycore, Halloween themed island!
Today’s planning will include going through villager options to pick out our dreamies, going through some pictures of inspiration, talking about build ideas, and finally making a big moodboard.
Can't wait to start this new ACNH Island!

Do you like to plan out your islands? Or do you just go with the flow?
I try to plan and do interesting themed islands, but I always end up falling back on slightly spooky smalltown in fall.
Initially I went with the flow but I’m going to actually plan out my new island next time to not waste unnecessary time on builds I did not ended up liking 🥲
Yes ! All the time, my next plan is to combine heavy metal and halloween.

I know you’re going for a more small-town feel with less of the simple panel buildings, but man was I hoping for a spirit Halloween build lol
I actually thought of adding a spirit Halloween! Maybe if we have enough space we can squeeze it in
HHP: remember you can speed run each build, no “design” necessary. Just place the items the villager requires and you’re done. Get your 30 houses and DONE.

Booville is such a cute name! I love the sound of this island and as for any extra build ideas I’m always a big fan of using an extra resident home to create shops like florists, cafes, etc. for the small town feel maybe a little grocery store would be cute :)

I was also thinking about naming my next island BooVille! Great minds think alike? 😂 Love the moodboard! I will have to try that out. I'm going for a kidcore halloween vibe also with some town elements so I'm looking forward to watching more videos of this island! ❤❤❤

I use Nookipedia for the items, and Canva for the actual board!

We are synchronized somehow! 😂 it is the middle of August and we’re already on spooky mood lol, I’m also in the process of planning out my next island even tho I’m not done with my current one lol. I’m also going for a Halloween Towncore island but with some Kidcore as well, kinda amazing how we are going for the same theme but my mood board is totally different from yours. I usually take a few months to get out a completed island, so I wanted to give myself enough time to get this island complete by Halloween! And thank you, I am looking forward to working on this island!

I just have one question haha! I started playing back in March 2020 and got burnout after 2021 summer hahaha. When you said your other islands did you restart your island after each islands? 😮
But I have restarted playing again in July, just casual day to day crossing 😂 recently got into happy home paradise and roost now in the village!

Thank you! And yes once I complete an island I save the dream address and then delete the island that way I can make a new one. But luckily the dream address will still be there so I can always visit it!

What app do you use for planning? I wanna plan for my cosy cottagecore island but I cant find any apps to do it on
I actually used Canva for it and then used Nookapedia for all the item and character pictures. I use Canva for all of my channel art and thumbnails and it's pretty easy to use
