I grew up in the South and bagels really didn't make it down here until the 90s, and then they were seen as an "import" from up North. So I understand exactly what he meant.
Rhett looks like a side character in a movie where the only scene you see him in is that one bar scene where the protagonist walks into a bar and there we find Rhett having a couple drinks with his pals causing a ruckus and the protagonist decides to intervene cause a massive bar fight that ends with him in jail but it’s a good character building moment and shows u that the protagonist is a good but short tempered person. Thank you for showing us this Rhett
"before you were born.... 2008" made me just realize that there are probably people watching this show that literally were not born yet then. they have never existed in a world WITHOUT GMM. anyone else feeling old? :P

Bagels being foreign is such a wild concept to me. I grew up eating them for breakfast, lunch, snacks, whatever. Butter, cream cheese, jelly, whatever you want to put on them. They’re delicious. Even now living in the south I still buy a bag every week.
Quite honestly after watching this one had to assume that Rhett and Link are planning on financially backing a resturant specializing in all the recipes Josh and the team have come up with over the years when they eventually retire.
I think a cool idea would be a “will it redemption” to see if josh could make all the things that wouldn’t in the past into something that possibly will.
I 100000000000000% think they need to have the Mythical Kitchen whip up some pizzas like Fong's Pizza in Iowa that has been having some media attention for their cereal pizzas, like Fruit Loops and Crunch Berries. I'd love to see the Mythical Kitchen recreate and make even CRAZIER cereal pizzas than that! Iowa needs some mythical love!
What about creating The Mythical Restaurant. All the really good creations that you have come up with for the show. One dish could be a challenge for the adventurous customer.
Remember in season 1 (best chocolate bar ever) when link said "I'm willing to go so far as to eat coconut." And now he's willing brain pizza. Such growth.

Chicagoan here that actually lives in the city limits. Deep Dish is not what we regularly eat. We eat thin crust from good mom-and-pops local places. Deep Dish is a couple times a year... or tourist food.
