For legal reasons I don't think I would say these are for educational purposes. If anything I would state that this is purely for entertainment and you shouldn't try any of this at home. The last thing you want is some idiot hurting themselves and suing you for "teaching" them them wrong.
Nobody takes responsibility for their actions anymore, its always someone else's fault.
It's sad but its the world we live in. Love your videos though, Titus is the most genuine, kind hearted soul. I would hate to see anyone cause him problems, just food for thought.
    Love ya Titus!

😊actually a bull team (oxen) are super useful and strong . Horses are the most beautiful animals. They were vital to the building of the frontier, in so far as communications (pony express,) travel by coach, or just riding to visit. But sadly the oxen and the mother cow were (and are to this day) only regarded as citizens without souls, so they are daily sent to be butchered for their flesh. In a more sane and compassionate society, protection of mother cow for her wholesome milk, and using oxen for heavy plowing or grinding grains in to flour or seeds into cooking oil are the most humane and caring ways for true humanity. Titus told us to feed our minds with good things. I hope this is a good contribution. May there be peace in the world.

Hopefully, this video will persuade someone close to Titus to go offer their services and teach him how to safely work his team and the timber. All those tree's getting hung up and no one except the cameraman looking up through entire cuts was hard to watch!

I cut pulp one winter in high school and we used a horse. Northern New England so it wasn't warm but it was the best winter I ever had. Our Belgian was well trained. Bring him to the yard, lead him into the woods then hook to a log and lead him back to the yard. That was all it took. Take him into the woods, hook up and "Go, Clyde"! He would drag to the yard alone and stop by the pile. Great horse.

Titus said he prayed for Gods protection today but just be mindful on this: God gives us the knowledge to protect ourselves using intellect and that is how in this case he protects us, not to wilfully push on taking chances then thanking him when we get lucky. There are lessons to be learned here for sure.

Logging with horses can be extremely dangerous. And it's generally recommended to wear chaps specifically designed for logging when using that chain saw. The horses moving off fast like they did wasn't very safe either , and Titus jumping over the log . The saying is, " Its not a question of if things go south, but when. " It's almost a guarentee that at some point the unexpected will happen. Rock steady, quiest horses, staying clear of the moving log, making the length of each log manageable, etc. I appreciate the desire to harvest your own logs, personally, I love working with a team of horses as partners but it's been drilled into my head that safety is paramount, all the time. For you, your fellow workers and your team. Thank God you prayed more than once.

I think the most important safety gear for cutting in the woods is a hardhat with face shield. The DAY I bought my helmet/shield/ear muff combo helmet, a good sized branch fell when I was clearing a path and hit the ear muff, probably woulda taken my ear off. I too pray when I go into the woods to cut :)
That was a tough spot on the hillside - honestly can't believe everyone walked away in one piece. Pulleys ropes, straps - anything to stay a long way away from the log is how I try to work cause yup, too many unpredictable forces in the wood. I cannot even imagine working with horses like this. Good for y'all that do!

No safety gear what so ever. And thenyou get into signed waivers for the ppl working and staying on his land. Has he done anything to protect himself? Is he well insured.?I know ppl think nothing bad can happen. Until it does and the hospital bills plus lawsuits take over.

An adventure indeed ! What an enjoyable video. Those horses worked hard and so did the men. Great job ! And I'm so glad for all of you that the horses got lodged in the woods and weren't able to book-it back to the barn. Hope you find your chain and that it's still usable ! Happy New Year !

Titus you are such an inspiration. It is the 1st of January '24 here in Australia. My garden hasn't been tended to for a long time as my husband was very sick for a couple of years then I hurt my back. This morning I got up and planted some lettuce, coriander, marigold, chives and parsley. I stopped after an hour as I am still recovering but what you said in your video with Peter made so much sense. I related to it so much. I have plans to plant some more and tend my fruit trees which are sulking a bit due to neglect. I hope and pray you continue with you beautiful journey which I will continue to follow from the other side of the world. Love to all of you over there. God Bless.

I love you guys man keep it up dude keep it up and do what you’re doing. I think you’re doing the right thing you’re trying to live on your own and do your things your way so waking up 9 to 5 you wake up 95 whatever earlier, did your things you need to do to fix your homestead? I respect that, and it takes a lot of guts to do what you’re doing so keep it on up man. Love you if I had the money to give to you to Build, build the stuff up for you. I would’ve been but I got you pennies in the road together like I said, but I’m here praying for you but I’ll give you thumbs up and I’ll leave message for you. I hope that helped. Amen.

This was some seriously high octane entertainment for all the wrong reasons. I love you Titus, and I believe in you and your mission brother, but PLEASE I beg of you BE CAREFUL!!! You and the horses weren't injured, and that is truly a blessing, God is on your side that's for sure!

Titus I loved the video man.God blessed me by coming across it to watch. I had to laugh but it really made my day. But I really think that God needs to bless you and keep you out of logging for your own good. Maybe it would be a lot simpler if you cut the logs down to size and use only one horse and save the double tree for plowing purposes. I quite doubt that 150 foot log is going to fit on the saw mill. But really enjoyed the video and the man above looked out for you. I look forward to the next one. God bless you. 😅
