How about a mod that combines all the aspects of each character and puts them into one character? The jump height and flutter jump of Luigi, the speed of Toad, Peach's Float, and Rosalina's special spin attacks? I guess since Mario doesn't have any real special abilities, he can be the one to get them all.
I think the reason that you can't defeat those second set of flounder's is because they normally move left and right to be bounced off to get the first green star, and since you never got on Plessie, that movement never triggers, and thus the collision is never enable for them. At least that is my theory.
On the switch mario 3d world the death area size was increased by the developers so you cant skip to halfway up the tower. That was a glitch in the wii u version but it was patched
I think its because those splounders normally move side to side, but they dont start until you jump on plessie so before then they are inactive so you cant hit them.

Just some videos idea : -what would you see if you change the max number of lives (negative max, no max) -Is it possible to finish the levels if you remove the warpbox, flag (checkpoint and flagpole) and liquides (water, lava) textures -what would happen if you remove the death barriers and then fall in the void -how many points can you get if the points you get are randoms -is it possible to finish the levels if coins and power-ups kill you -is it possible to have the sprikces saving mario, peach, luigi, toad and rosalina instead of having them save the sprikces
3D world used to not have a death barrier towards the actual tower (well, used to be, its not there in the Wii U version, so there was atleast 1 way to do that skip normally
