One of the things people have to remember the g37 is still a luxury car before anything else because of the sound proofing what you hear inside the car will be way different than what you hear outside the car
The Invidia sounded perfect to me. Throaty and no rasp, just the way it should be. The Invidia and the Z1 Touring sound the best IMO. Hope you find one you like.
@whothisbuddhist I put a single Exit Greddy on my Vert thing gets annoying after a while because it gets attention from cops & randoms wanting to race. Plus folks like your girl, parents, or friends know you're near. I may check out Invidia.
I’d definitely suggest some test pipes or art pipes it’ll bring the sound out way more but keep it clean I know g35’s sound different but I have a video on my UA-cam with the Invidia comparison with test pipes and stock cats maybe it’ll give you a good idea on what you can expect for yours
@@kapow_g37 yeah it’s a much more tame exhaust then the other ones you can do long tube headers and it’ll scream but pain in the ass to install or just get a motordyne exhaust those are so nice
Currently have this exhaust on my 2011 G37 with the oem IPL body kit and I’ve been loving it for a while my go to was motordyne at first but they were so backordered and I definitely didnt want to wait a whole year to get them and I got these in under 5 months, make sure you get a exhaust polisher and cleaner so the tips look brand new like always
Before I got this exhaust I had a straight pipe on my G37S and it was loud as shit, on the highway i could not hear myself think lol. It sounded great, but i needed to quiet down the cab noise, so i bought this exhaust. I like it, but I also miss the rowdy-ness of the straight pipe. I was thinking about doing some long tube headers or something to make it a bit louder but im not sure what will be too much? I dont want to go back to not hearing shit but I also want it to sound meaner lol. If you have any input I would definitely like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Shout out to Southern Colorado
Yeah that’s how I was after this exhaust and I was running the test pipes, I’m currently running the ARC grip exhaust with test pipes, and its definitely louder and you’re able to hear it more
i have a straight pipe with a small resonator and it has to come off.. it sounds like a library rn (soho single exit, vibrant resonator, z1 ypipe, berk test pipes)
I've had the Invidia on my G for almost 10 years, and the reason I like it is the reason you don't 😂. I just wanted it to be a little louder than stock, no rasp at all, and didn't want a whole lot of drone
Man I have the same problem, I just have a muffler delete and and thinking after market y pipe and maybe performance muffler or beluga exhaust most of the full exhausts don’t sound that aggressive imo
Honestly, my future plan is to just use the y pipe and mid pipes from my current exhaust and just add a couple more resonators where the mufflers used to be so that it’s not raspy but still loud
Off topic as fuck but I’m looking to buy a g and was wondering if you could give me some pointers on what to look out for when buying one. Also I’m getting rid of my 2016 accord for one as retarded as that sounds but I just really want a fun daily
I would get as new as possible 2013 and above if you could to avoid gallery gasket problem. Also, definitely try to find one with no aftermarket parts, the people that drive these run them into the ground and if it’s modified, even a little, whatever the miles r are going to be hard miles and the car will most likely last for so much longer. and personally my G is a 2008 which is the first year and it’s a little difficult to find exact parts for because of how many things they switch going into next. But overall such a fun car and I would highly recommend

Exactly, I have the invidia exhaust and it sounds amazing with HFC. Probably the best exhaust for the $$

Im stuck between these two for my Q60
I actually bought the berk resonated test pipes for my b day n the invidia gemini cb like a day ago i hope i like it in person on my q50
Def not bad at all if u want good sound and not be tooooo loud
@@kapow_g37 yeah I don’t want to be notice by the cops or have to be bothered by ransoms to race tbh
Making me miss my invidia:(
Yo just wondering does your car have the 4WAS? Also what exhaust are you running now?
Hi do you still have the invidia exhaust
Not on the car, but I still have it
Hey bro does he sound nice and deep in person ,
It was a decently deep sound, and I honestly really liked it, but it was just very quiet
@@kapow_g37 ok bro thanks
I fw your vids honest humble content and yes unfortunately u did have some exhaust leakage there
Thank you so much really appreciate it bro
you're still in your loud car stage, you'll grow out of it when you get older forsure.. sounded great tho
Everyone says that
@@whothisbuddhist yup bc it happens to everybody

I liked the sound of it.
It does sound great, but in person and in the cabin it’s quite faint

Yeah, I was running the burg test pipes with this exhaust and it was still pretty quiet for me

Go for test pipe or long tube, it’ll bring the sound out of it, I have the invidia with non res test pipe sound pretty aggressive
Yeah that’s how I was after this exhaust and I was running the test pipes, I’m currently running the ARC grip exhaust with test pipes, and its definitely louder and you’re able to hear it more
Get a tomei or isr
So expensive and I don’t like single exits I just hate not filling in the bumper
Try rev9 mufflers

Is it possible for the coupe exhaust to fit on a sedan?
no
