I never really gave this any other thoughts after it all went down years when Scru said I was falling blind and then Knox Hill brought it back up and it got me thinking…I don’t think Scru has ever addressed this in fact, I think he stays pretty far away from it . As someone that has a learning disability as well I relate so much to this comment. Just because there are different levels of special needs just like there are different levels of being blind. Doesn’t mean you don’t have what you have, or feel the way you feel. Growing up I was called everything in the book. Although a lot of that stuff hurts and will stick with me for the rest of my life nothing is more insulting than telling me. I am not disabled. Or that I am making all of this up.
I was about to say the same thing. I’m legally blind without my glasses. Just because we aren’t blackout blind doesn’t lessen the disability or negate the use of the term, “blind”. Scru is done. Ignorance is BLISS! I was in a car accident in 2003, after spending 11 months in the hospital, 4 years bed-ridden, I now rely on a wheelchair. I am fortunate I did NOT have a brain injury or a spinal cord injury, but because I do not have a left hip joint due to infections and other complications, I need to use a wheelchair because I also had my left arm ripped off in the accident. So because I do NOT have a left arm, nor can I get a prosthetic, I am unable to use crutches or a walker to walk without the hip. But the worst thing I deal with on a daily basis is the "phantom pain" caused from the trauma to my left arm. Wanna know what people say about that? It's all in your head! No shit Sherlock! Pain is transmitted to your body, through your brain! But because no one can actual "see" my pain, it only exists in my head???
There is a thing called "legally blind"! You can be declared "legally blind" but still have a bit of eyesight. But if you are legally blind, you can't drive, you can't read "normal print" and it is very debilitating! And until you have walked in this person's shoes, how dare you disrespect him or anyone else. Stop being jealous and hating on people that have actually worked their asses off to build a life for themselves Scru! There is a special place in the afterlife for people like you, and there are sooooo many others there just waiting for your arrival. Not sure you will be taking your weapons with you and to these people, your "words" won't phase them.
It's crazy to me that someone would try to talk about someone's medical condition without knowing anything about it. Maybe this will finally get him to say something about it, or maybe he'll just act like he can't see it.
