So we have owned our Sactional for over 12 months, and I have to say that we still love it, maybe even more so than we did for the fist few months. It is extremely comfortable, easy to clean, sturdy, stays together, and just fits our lifestyle so well. I understand that it isn't the cheapest of couches, but I don't plan on replacing this couch for a long, long time, if ever. First off, thanks for the awesome reviews. My boyfriend and I have been debating about investing in the sactional. Your videos and review have been a big help. As we don't have a local store to check it out in person yet.
Secondly, oh lordy the chomchom. After seeing the effectiveness after you used it. I bought one right away and one for a friend. It's fantastic! Much more convenient to use then busting out the vacuum every couple days. I have a cat that just covers the couch with fur and this can easily be used daily! 👍👍
Good video. We ordered a Sactional from Best Buy as they had the 15% off sale this weekend. Definitely expensive, and I was a little on the fence, but your video helped us make the decision. We have two big dogs (pitbull that's 11years old, so not super hyper, and a 4yr old Goldendoodle that is SUPER active - to the point where it's a bit excessive). I was worried that they might destroy the fabric, but I have confidence now that they'll hold up.

We have had our Sactional for about 6 years now and it gets a lot of abuse. It honestly looks brand new every time I takes the covers off and wash them. Two large dogs (one long hair and one short hair), as well as multiple cats all over it, all of the time. The cats make the most mess, they have puked on it I don’t know how many times. But with each washing, they turn out clean. We have reconfigured the layout 4 times now. I get bored with the layout and change it every now and then. I’m thinking about getting a extra set of covers in a different color just to change it up a bit. I also purchased a couple of Sactional chairs (2 bases and 6 sides) for my sitting room about 2 years ago and chose covers that are reversible. I absolutely love them! I have noticed one of back pillows started to slump a bit (the cat likes to lay on top of the pillow) but all I did was take the cover off and re fluffed the pillow. No issues with it at all. Yes…they are expensive. However, I will never have to purchase another couch no matter what house I’m in, what size the room is or how the room is configured. If a section ever gets damaged, I know I can purchase replacement parts and not a whole new set of furniture. If the cushions ever go flat, I know I can just purchase another one. If I get tire of the color or type of fabric, I can change it. Best purchase I’ve made.

Ah, That's what i really needed to know. I have a speedy little poodle and a slow-motion old bulldog. When they play rough, the cushions will take a beating. Thank you for a great real life video.

I have an oversized sofa that the cushions fall forward few inches after sitting on it. I remember when good furniture had hooks that you hooked on the back of the sofa to the cushions. It was a really good thing but don't see that anymore.
Thanks for the videos of your Lovesac? Do you know the depth of the seat when set up as a narrow seat? I'm looking for the depth from the front of the back pillow to the front of the seat. I can't find a dimension on their website. Thanks

@@techgooch Absolutely. I'm kind of an obsessive when making such a big purchase, so I'll definitely go into a showroom and see which configuration works best for me. Looking for more than just a traditional sofa as I've definitely grown out of my current one as my 6 dogs have basically taken it over.

@@lg8498 hey, I bought 4 seat 4 side setup, basically a love seat with storage seats that are ottomans. Iv had it for probably half a year now, and love it tremendously. It's a joy to plop down on.

I've seen reviews from others about fabric covers stretching and pillows losing their shape over time. What are your experiences with these issues
What about dog smell? Does that come out with washing? I find fabric holds dog oder more.

In this video, what material did you choose?
My dogs do the following:
1 - slopper everywhere on themselves and onto sofa fabric
2 - look tennis balls in the back of the sofa and tey to did it out.
I usually get canvas paint tarps and throw it onto of the sofa.
Thanks for this review. Which fill did you get? Soft, med, firm? I do not like slouchy couches so will pass on the soft. Looks like you got the firm? We may get this couch but if we find an eco friendly couch that we like. Well, then there is no debate.
Lovesoft back pillows underfilled. Beena huge issue that they're aware of and aren't really fixing it
Do you have any suggestions for cleaning underneath? I love mine but I haven't been able to find a good way of cleaning underneath it
Not really. I take my vacuum and get what I can see, but I am sure there are other things underneath. I plan on once a year picking up each base and cleaning. Maybe I'll do a video to see what has accumulated.
Thank you for the real life review with pets that are considered family! My dogs are part of my family too. I am worried about my Catahoula Leopard tearing the covers with his nails. They aren't long, just sharp. He has torn several comforters by jumping and playing on the bed. He plays on the couch like your dogs as well. What's your opinion on the strength/toughness of the fabric?

If you're ordering the sofa and would like to orient the cushion for a deeper seat, you will get the standard depth pillow, as shown in this video. However, instead, you can order your cushion as a 'deep set'. A deep set, is the same standard cushion, but comes with a narrower pillow instead of the standard size pillow. If you order online, you can't order a 'deep set', you must go into a store or call them directly.
Interesting, I ordered mine through the store and even asked about a narrower cushion. I will have to look into this.
Kismet is correct. They do offer “deep seat” option that can be ordered, but it can only be done thru a rep @ the store. They currently don’t have the option to order as a deep seat online or in a Costco bundle. I have 8 seats & got 6 deep pillows as I have 4 set in deep mode, 2 standard, & 2 ottomans. I just recently got mine & thank you for your videos! They were a great help!
You can google your cover and deep seat pillow to find just the pillow on their site. Example 'taupe padded velvet deep back pillow'. Didn't know you could order it as a set with the seat though.
Can you get the wider pillows even if you want to use deep seating?
What is the fill material you got on your inserts? (Standard foam, down blend, or the lovesoft) I like the look of these cushions.. not too firm or too soft!

Back pillows severely underfilled. Common complaint. Base pillows are very comfortable

HELP! Sir, you have huskies, I have 2, and we went with rained chenille and it's a pet hair magnet. What covering material do you have and recommend with your huskies?
We have the Twill, still gets pet hair, but fairly easy to clean off.

How's the comfort when sleeping in the bed arrangement? Do you sag into it?
We don't really sag at all. Using it as a bed is fantastic, and we have had heavier friends sleep on it as well. My kids try to coerce us to allow us to let them sleep on it on the weekend.
I have never used the older series 5, but the series 6 is great, and we have had no issues, even with the standard foam.
Do you find the backs to be too low?
I do not, however since they are lower your head doesn't really rest on something. That is something to bring up, as it is not like my Flexsteel sectional I had prior, which was a high back. But overall, it is very comfortable, and the customization is fantastic.

I feel like a jerk saying this, BUT I THINK YOU HAVE YOUR STORAGE UPSIDE DOWN. I saw a video from Lovesac showing those aluminum bars. It makes no sense that your blankets don't sit down in the hole. I have seen countless videos where you lift the cushion and throw it in. Just incase you just made a wrong assumption, I'm just trying to help. I imagine you have been told many times.

Slate Twill, I don't think they offer it anymore, but it was one of the cheapest fabrics.

I spent almost $6,000 on my lovesac couch. It’s crap, never again. Soft cushions lose their shape, the covers stretch as a result of the cushions losing their shape and no longer fit the cushions neatly. I do regret this purchase. So disgusted that I’m throwing it away, would even give it to someone as a gift.
The whole concept and functionality was so new and exciting to me that I didn’t actually think about durability. Never again! Please trust me. You can buy so much more quality from other brands exactly, with the same amount of money. Please message me and I’ll tell you all the horrific details of buying a product from this company. Don’t waste your money, you will pay. If you don’t think you will pay, then it’s just too hard for you to admit that you spent way too much money on a totally crap product with fantastic marketing.
So what’s the problem that you have with your Lovesac sectional couch?
