I've already decided on a fitting for my Vulture:
Rig slots: 3x Small Core Defense Field Extenders I
High Slots: 2x Miner II, Salvager I
Mid Slots: Medium Shield Extender II, Survey Scanner II, 1MN Monopropellant Enduring Afterburner
Low Slot: Mining Laser Upgrade II
Drone Bay: 2x Hobgoblin II
Skin: Amarr Industrial
I would like to see a small mining ship from drake to pair with the Vulture
honestly, as an EVE player. that thing will forever LOOK like a mining ship to me. even the name is close, lol.
I just had to google it and yes it looks just like the Venture. I played EVE back in 2011 for a short time but was so lost on what to do.

@@jbirdmax the Venture. Everyone gets one during their first few NPC missions to learn how mining works. Same overall shape, color, and gist.
and despite it hiding TAH's commenent for some odd reason... NOPE, arms are out front. even the thruster placement is pretty similar. Venture's a lot bigger, though. (not that you can really Tell in EVE, scale is odd in that game)

This was an awesome deep dive into the lore of the Vulture. I had no idea about its history and I'm really interested in salvage as a profession.
I think another use for the hull material would be to create boxes, make it so any mining ship or vehicle has a container for hull composite material (or however its called) if the container is full enough and the ship is full of minerals you can just take out the mineral container and the ship will 3d print another one, that way if you bring say, a mule loaded up with composite with your ROC you can extract way more minerals before needing to drop them off somewere, it creates more interaction and makes mining more viable

I love the part about the attack by the 4 cutlasses after legal trouble surrounding blackbox was found. I also love the independent can do of attitude of Drake culture.

Got a Claimer and a Vulture, because salvage was a big one for me. T-0 will be interesting on how they have us find random wrecks to salvage. I hope it's fun ,because I doubt we'll have the safe haven of the halo to feed upon like we can with mining.
I'd love to see a video like this about the Polaris. Afaik it's a very recent addition to the UEE Navy so it would be interesting to learn the lore behind it.
There is some but not much as it is brand new. Will think about it in the new year though.

EVE fans and SC fans went into a flame war about it when it was announced. Led to the official EVE twitter account trolling them and Star Citizen challenging them to a lego build off which they did this year for charity.
Paul, it's not so much that im interested in the vulture or salvage, I just like storytelling in a fictional universes I'm familiar with, but I also liked dry-as-f*** history in the US public school system so maybe I'm just sick. Y'all ever watch the Black Pants Legion series Tex Talks Battletech? Great stuff.

Good story but first flaw with salvage will be ships disappearing after a kill.
That's why they are doing "soft death" for ships

Technically it's an exploration ship, Drake always marketed the Cutlass as a Millitia Ship. It's all about the spin baby!
