honestly luke in s6 was not it, he was kinda a hypocrite…getting mad at lorelai for talking to the father of her child, and thinking she’s keeping secrets from him- but when he found out he had a daughter himself, he kept it from lorelai and (as lorelai said) was trying to figure out how lorelai would fit into him and april's life when it should have been luke trying to figure out how april fit into him and lorelai's life.
Luke kept April out of Lorelai's life per Anna's demand all because Anna was a b-ch about Lorelai and/or who Luke had around their child. Luke would've wanted anything to let Lorelai be in April's life if it didn't threaten his right as a father to see her, and eventually, it did, 'cause Anna wanted to move to New Mexico to take April away from Luke.
The whole rhythm of this was... CINEMA. The way you matched the lyrics to the clips, the use of the voiceovers (normally voiceovers can be a bit much but you make it work perfectly!) right down to the timing of that door slam; this is utter, heartbreaking perfection 💔
Their relationship was so heartbreaking.... Season 7 sucks.... only the last few episodes of the final season are good... Wish we could've had the chance to see more of Luke and Lorelai in that final season and not what we got....
What a great video!! The first few scenes and voiceovers were so undervidded and established things so well! And then "the second that we called it quits"... the whole rest of the video is just so so good with all the voiceovers and very specific lyric matching. Yeah Lorelei was a mess there towards the end. I hate how they made her that woman, so needy. From one to the next. Madly in love with another so quickly? What? Kinda loss respect for her Boo. Was hard to watch

Their scenes together were ackward and tense. Seasons 5 and 6 ,Lorelai always looked so miserable, but no wonder being involved with someone like Luke. Once they became a couple he treated her bad ,if she did something he didn't approve of he would throw a tantrum and leave. With Chris ,they had chemistry, whether as parents, friends or lovers. She never told Luke/Max or Jason that she loved them. She did tell Chris more than once that she loved him. She didn't marry Luke or Max ,she did marry Christopher. I know in the revival she married the liar. Seasons 5 and 6 were bad,the characters especially Lorelai and Rory didn't act like themselves, but in Season 7 , they acted more like themselves. The only bad thing abiut Season 7 was at the end when Luke and Lorelai got back together. That just ruined everything.
I feel like it is the same with Rory and Logan. Everyone insisting Jess is the one. But she never loved Jess the way she loved Logan. She was never distraught over break-ups with Jess or Dean the way she was when things weren't going well with Logan. Same with Lorelai and Chris. She was so crushed when Chris had to marry pregnant Shari. Did she love Luke, sure. Was she in love with him? I don't know.
yess i feel like they had way more natural chemistry and chris and lorelai knew each other and truely loved each other. they had sm history and i kinda wish they ended up together
