Love this, it is so cute. I took art in school but the teacher obviously did not know how to do macrame because your method is so simple and beautiful. I wish I could have seen this video a long time ago because it always seemed like so much work to watch my teacher struggle with her projects that I never tried the craft.

I love owls and love learning new things. This was a great exercise for me to take a little break from crochet. I followed the measurements and came up way too short to even come close to finishing, so next time I'll use longer pieces. Great tutorial, thanks. I used glow-in-the-dark beads for the eyes and beak. He guards my room now^^

You can use any kinda of rope/string.
Just dont use soft strings/ropes.
