Meta Seinemeyer and Frieder Weissmann

The soprano Meta Seinemeyer was a great talent, and famous in her time (1895-1929).
Her premature death deprived the world of one most outstanding interpreters of opera and lieder.
On 19 august 1929, she married Dr. Frieder Weissmann, the conductor and accompanist in all her Parlophone recordings. Weissmann was to survived her by some forty-five years.
