Isn't it true you could technically listen to Dt's albums from the beginning of Scenes From A Memory to the song Octavarium and they would technically be completely connected?

The last line of Octavarium is "The story ends where it begins" which (in most releases anyway) plays the first part of The Root of All Evil (the first song on Octavarium).

Yes, that's because of the way they compose music, they do that a lot in the last 3 albums, making some melodies the same as past songs, so you can feel the throwback when you listen to them, it's subconsious but it works. some like it and some don't, and probably they don't like it because they don't understand it.

I don't like it this album anymore, kind of sad and depressive, i prefer thrash metal and hard rock nowadays rather. I have this 2cd (making of album, dvd), but i haven't listened this many years, not hit anymore.
Not really my favorite, sound like some sad album, i feel somehow sad, when i listen this, images and words is band best album. Some i also hate this album.
