I love sharing this with my "Living in the Anthropocene" class (where we imagine different ways we might live in the future, based on anthropological data about different ways humans have lived in our entire history). And I love telling them that Paige is also super nice & funny & has crazy style sense! Thank you, Paige, for helping me to help my students adapt to a very frightening future.
Me too also hit a wall about political ecology and dr Paige has explained it so clearly and made me understood a lot better! Thank you for such informative content
I hit a wall getting my master thesis started. I'd lost hope in anthropology as a discipline. You made my day! Now I am certain I have the tools and motivation to go on! Thank you so much for your excellent presentation!
@@weareallbornmad410 Well, hi there! This comment brought back memories 😅In the end, my master thesis became a fusion between many theoretical approaches, including political ecology. It went well and I got a B, which I am very satisfied with. Now I work at a university within the field of anthropology. 😄
@@commenthismofo Cool! I honestly didn't expect an answer, thanks for taking the time to respond :)) Also, can you tell me just a bit about this job you do? If things go well I'll graduate with Phd this year, I want what you have... Oh, I forgot - gratulations! Sounds like it wasn't an easy road for you, all the more impressive and worthwhile that you made it :)
Very inspiring introduction on the concept of political ecology. I will be starting a Unit module on this concept tomorrow and this is a very good way to inspire me on the module. I am a PhD Student at the University of Bristol UK. Thank you Prof P. West.
