Glad to read the comments. My beauty drop sub is also now under review. Like Crystal, I felt it was a no-brainer when the boxes were basically free, they were always a nice surprise and usually contained some products I really liked. Balanced out having to spend my 'credit' at Liberty whose range is not that big, tended to be on the expensive side with a lack of 'offers'. But now it's basically £15 a box and I'm still tied in to spend all my credit there I'm not sure. Especially when gift-with-purchase deals are leftover bd bits.
Yeah i totally agree. If i get another LA Bruket handcream or Spacemask im done with the beauty drop. I feel like a ton of the items are just leftovers from the advent calendar.

I didn't get the box for several reasons (boycotting boxes with 3ml samples, malin and goetz again, the same hand cream as the last beauty drop, the ugly print of the bag) but the misprinted scan is the last straw
I cancelled my Liberty drop membership the day I got the email. I had saved up quite a bit of money and every time I went to spend it I found their choice limiting (bought a perfume instead and will now use my money at any other shop I want instead 😂)
You could have spent in anywhere in liberty not just beauty.
Also the fact they hardly offer discounts unlike say Cult beauty or Look Fantastic, so the money that you do save with Liberty membership you have to buy the products at full price. xx
Thanks for sharing 💕 I was a Beauty Drop member but was not happy about having to pay an extra £5 a month for it not to be credited to my account so I cancelled my subscription. I did like recieving the box but I noticed I wasn't keen on many of the fragrances and would of preferred more makeup or facial skincare items so I will use the money I will save towards buying something else.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve left mine going for the minute too in the hope we will get better stuff in the boxes, then I’ll review. You are right, that bag was the same bag that had Lisa potter dixon’s edit in a while ago, again prob old stock. Mac have just done this too with old stock of their Black Friday mystery bag advertised on sale as a new mystery bag… so unfair to all us beauty lovers I expect better from big brands too xx
I left the beauty drop the day I got the email. I had been with them since box 2. I had enjoyed some of the boxes but never thought they were as good as the first one with the free bag. I didn’t necessarily see them as a big wow free thing as they were just effectively the same as a GWP split into 4 boxes. The fact is I find liberty the most poor of the beauty department halls. Yes they have unique brands but there is a lack of known brands where someone can at least know what say the perfume may smell like before making a big purchase. Not all of these brands are in my local department stores and I’m not prepared to pay over £200 without smelling them first! I would like to see more regular brands also sold by liberty. The other London stores manage to do a good mix. I always envisaged I’d use my credit for the advent calendar and I did on the first year but last year I realised I’d much prefer say the space nk or cult beauty one but my credit was stuck with liberty. In the end I got a big diptique candle but timed it so I’d get their big GWP so I was happy. Now I have some credit left I’ll use up when they do their big GWP in September this year but I can literally go for any advent calendar I want xx
I agree with this completely. I think I must have about £500 in credit because the advent calendar was so disappointing this year I couldn’t bring myself to order it! It’s got one more chance then it’s gone!
@@kateacton make sure you keep an eye on the ‘sell by”’ date for the credit. I think it was 18 months but I’d check. I know I felt comfortable waiting for the next big GWP this year though.X

I am a beauty drop member ( not for much longer!) how did I not know about this???
I use my beauty drop cash for the kits, which I really like and give great value. The new system gives 10% off kits. Last year, that would have saved me almost all of the £60 increase without including the great savings in the kits. It's still worth it to me. I never really thought much of the beauty drop boxes anyway. They still feel 'free'. Even with the changes.

I got this when I treated myself to the All About Her kit (which is fabulous) after my Beauty Drop discount, Beauty Drop credit and a Liberty Loyalty voucher is cost me about £12 😃 The goody bag was a bonus but not the motivation by any stretch for the purchase!
I got a far superior GWP in store when I made my pilgrimage there a few months ago 😂but admittedly I had to spend far more too - I think it was£150 or £175? I got that eye shadow in that one, and had the rest in various beauty drops. I think the cleansing pad thingy was the only newbie.
I’m in the same mindset about Beauty Drop. I’ll see what the next couple of boxes are like and take it from there. Getting the kits discounted may worth a bit of the extra expense 🤔
I’ve had the subscription since the beginning, here my thoughts. I’ve had the same brand hand cream twice , I didn’t like the smell of it first time around 😂 I know the products in the box are completely free but now after the email on the price increase I’m not sure what to do. I find the products in the box always smell quite herbal. There’s never much make up. I use my credit on Lisa Eldridge stuff mainly lipsticks but now I’ve enough.
All repeat products 😔 I agree with your thoughts on this bag and the beauty drop. I’m going to keep for 1 more box then decide since as you said how can they justify an extra £5 a month when we don’t receive a box every month, it seems strange. I do enjoy spending the credit though.

I’m a beauty drop member. It’s all become quite repetitive. Nothing new at all. Every item like you said is in the beauty drop box. Now the price increase of £60 a year. I’m seriously considering cancelling my subscription all together. I will let two more come through then decide. There will have to be a significant improvement in content for me to stay.

Pretty much everything in that bag was from previous beauty drops which is poor. I’m staying with beauty drop to get the advent calendar as I already have a fair bit of credit saved and to be honest there is very little I ever want to buy on their website, they don’t stock the brands I like in general. But I hope the beauty boxes reflect the fact we are now effectively paying for them and improve somewhat - some are ok and some have been dire. We shall see. But I suspect once I get my advent calendar I will be cancelling my subscription which is a shame as I’ve been with them from the start.

I’m interested to know about the skin tint! I need a new dewy summer base. I cancelled the drop box, I used my credit to buy some hourglass products too, but I found there selection of beauty underwhelming overall 😞
I think your comment about samples in some warehouse is exactly right. Think they’re having a spring clean. I think every single one of these has been in the beauty drop! Hated the car air freshener as left in a drawer by mistake and smelt vile. Disappointed for you getting that! Xx

Am waiting for a big GWP, will spend all my beauty drop credit and then cancel my subscription. The beauty drop is a treat but I'm not willing to pay more.
I cancelled my liberty drop box when they started charging for the drop box I'm not giving 15 pounds per box it's not worth it I think that they are doing it because there are lots of the drop boxes for sale on ebay 🎉

I've canceled my subscription. An extra £5 is too much. If we got a box every month then fair enough, but we don't. It's a shame but the box was never particularly exciting anyway
I’ve stopped subs to this. I couldn’t find anything to buy, didn’t want their advent calendar this year and even though I’m a sewer, have loads of Liberty fabric now too

I cancelled my beauty drop subscription months ago. They never had what I wanted in stock. Terrible product selection. I am starting to suspe t the whole thing is just so that Liberty can flog old stock and at the same time have subscribers subsidise their cash flow by having cash locked up that cannot be spent.
