Oooh, L3’s “ VHS tapes” is a great bread blender. I think I have half a loaf left in that. I Need to get to blending.

That’s what I was thinking. Use that when I need to cut fruit down a notch.

Great tip for using the tide spray on blankets. ❤ My nose is all over the place lately. I’ll melt something I usually like/love and it turns me off! Then I’ll try it again in a week or so and it’s great again. It’s almost like an unhealthy relationship. 😂 Loved hearing your thoughts 😊

Lol! It’s true. I could love a scent and go crazy, then next you know….. I’m over it.

The Tide antibacterial spray smells so good! I really love Mrs Meyers lavender - it is very unique. Thanks for sharing, Kim! 💕

I’m a “sherbert” girl too. It must be regional since we both grew up in So Cal. I agree about TBG. I have favorites that perform really well. Then there are some that just don’t perform well for me. But I will always buy from her. Great empties, Kim!!

Yes, I’ll always buy from TBG. I don’t always need to have a heavy scent. 💕

I grew up saying sherbERT… So crazing not to pronounce it that way. LOL Great empties Kim!
I think cotton blossom is BBW, I remember having that scent in lotion from there. ( maybe I’m CRAZY 😂)

You’re not crazy , Cotton Blossom was B&BW. One of the first B&BW lotions I ever tried way back in my early 20s.

There’s literally no info on the internet about it. I’ll have to look again. I’m crazy. 😂🤣😂

I grew up in Ohio and everyone around me called it sherBERT. We also call Pepsi/Coke etc “pop” and not soda. When I moved to Florida, I said to a store employee, where’s your POP? She said, he’s not here today. I knew I was in trouble! And yes I still say POP 😂

Hahaha yes girl check the scentsy black market. I shop there frequently for discontinued bars. 🤣
Team #sherBERT! I pronounce it with the silent R! 🤣
Thanks for sharing Kim; have a great weekend! 💜☺️

I have “Shoreline Drive” from Scentsy and I agree it is salty sea air/mist/spray heavy. And I usually am all over salty sea air blends but this one was really heavy on the saltiness. And strong. I only used one cube per warmer and it was so beach air heavy I had to change it after a few hours.

"Cotton blossom" is a retired fragrance from Bath and body works. The notes I found are cotton flower, crisp air, and soft white musk.

Oh thank you so much. Too bad it’s retired, it probably was a pretty body product. 🥰

TeamSherBERT. I can’t say it any other way. It’s a southern thing too. Everyone I know here in NC says “ sherBERT” as a matter of fact, my cousins in Michigan call it “ sherBERT” it seems like I know more sherbert people than I do sherbet people. Where’s my sherbet people!? 🤣

I love RG blackberry mocha cookies! But I do stay away from any toffee note from any vendor. I never end up liking it and it always comes across too cloying and sickening sweet. Great empties 🫶🏼

I was just telling a friend I need more blackberry mocha cookies! Yes toffee and sometimes butterbrickle.

I never knew it was actually pronounced and spelled Sherbet. I have always said Sherbert!! Sherbert for me!

  • @ceylovesmakeup
    @ceylovesmakeup 5 місяців тому

Ok I had to google this - sherbet is the most common BUT sherbert is a less commonly used variant, and not wrong. I was raised saying sherbert too and I can’t switch, it sounds wrong!!

Omg you are so much like me I was totally gonna google this and see if it is a regional thing, etc. 😂

🤣 I’m from Texas so I wonder if it IS a regional thing!

“ The Arabic word šarba, which literally means a drink, is where the word sherbet comes from. It came to English in the early seventeenth century through the Turkish şerbet, which is a form of the Persian šerbet, itself a derivation from the original Arabic word. Sorbet has the same Arabic root.” Per Google that’s where the word “ sherbet” comes from.
