Reputation is loved in the fandom (which makes me happy), but overall a lot of people just associate this album as a comeback album after a lot of drama and don't like it. Yes, it is related to this, but if you analyze the songs carefully, you will see that many of them are more romantic than the songs from Lover, which is associated as an album about love (I still prefer Lover, but everyone may have a different opinion). It is misunderstood and people judge it based only on Look What You Made Me Do, when many of the songs on this album do not look like it at all.

Smile is like Teenage Dream yet more mature and childish at the same time and definitely more diverse with songs of multiple genres. Overall Katy’s 2nd most consistent album (after Prism) and her most diverse in terms of song styles and genres. It’s flaw is that it is a little “safe” Reputation: Reputation is Taylor’s big dark return to music and I think it was a bombing return. Mainly the album’s concept and lyrics are the things that shine. In my opinion it is Taylor Swift’s lesser consistent album but definitely her most unique. I think its flaws are that for me it relies too much on the evil Taylor concept and the songs are a little repetitive where it takes a second to actually recognize which sing it is unlike Smile which has every song so distinct and with its own identity. This is just my opinion guys lets respect✊
