I was going through a very difficult time in my marriage when this song came out, and I was feeling distraught, hopeless, and alone. It seemed like every time I got in the car and turned the radio on, this song was playing and tears would steam down my face. It was the perfect reminder to me that no matter what happened, my hope was in Christ alone and He would never let me down. Eventually, God restored my marriage and He continues to be my hope no matter what I have to face in this life.

Even though I'm trusting God for scholarships for WHEN I get accepted, this song just makes me worship Him regardless of whatever I'm going through and all that I'm believing Him for but for who He is! He is Jehovah. The King of glory! There is none like Him. As Christians, we believe that we're gradually being conformed to that image of the glory of the Lord (2 Corninthians 3:18) and that is even more reason to worship Him, because you can preview the glory you as a person are being changed into.
