I used to get killed almost every encounter. I almost quit playing this game cause it was so frustrating but I learned to have more patience and not run into houses or open fields blindly. Now I get 1 or 2 kills per encounter lol

The first time you wipe a squad of 3 and your buddies watching feels so good. Call outs are clutch. Alarm traps and such are your BEST FRIEND. Be patient!!
I do too I wish they got rid of portable siginals. Only those who play a lot, or pay a lot can afford taking in 2 of them every single match. The signal detector as a location you go up to and have to hold in and then it pings. I’m cool with that . Cool down times and what not you gotta get there first. Cool But portable ones you carry into the match man sucks. Those of us who have maybe 4 in our inventory. Running around get the advantage of stealth stripped from us against someone with an advantage of experience, gear and now the exact location of where you are cause let’s be real. Transmitters are a good counter but if you can’t go in with ports every round chances are your not buying or crafting a lot of transmitters. Not trying to bitch I love the dynamic and what not. Just would be cool for them to create another separate game mode specifically to eliminate ports. Yeah I get it, this game is Camo heavy. And that sucks. But still this game kinda markets as a post apocalyptic . Not everyone will carry a radio. Idk Sorry for the rant
@McNastyxx95 they answered your prayers with Jammers. They're cheap, give protection and alert you to people close by. Also, everything is free now cause of elimination and shootout. When I was playing you had to earn Materials, now you get stuff for free and without encounters, so there is that. I haven't played in a long time and I think I still have over 7,000 pings. Thousands of armor plates, nukes, grenades and etc each. I did that when you had to win and leave alive. You can do that without even having to spend materials now.
I am so glad you are planning to do not just tactical stuff and how to use consumable but where and how to get loot! None of that info is available online as far as I'm aware. I've only been playing vigor for a couple months and I'm worse at it than most people especially in a gun fight. Being a huge fan of the game days gone i shouldn't be so easily startled but everytime i see someone im so startled and clumsy i couldn't hit a house. I'm a sneaky looter i really appreciate the quality of the video and attention to detail game on
Dude, thank you for that! I know what you mean about Surprise Contact being startling and off putting. A thing that can help with that is having your headsets audio not too loud. @@JealousFist i use surround sound system it works better for me than headphones i couldn't tell were they were coming from with headphones but with surround im right on em. Its not the sound its trying to retaliate too fast and making mistakes and wrong button press because im so startled being shot in the back i know what your talking about tho
Are you able to turn down the volume of it and still play correctly? The gunfire is so loud in this game is hard to not startle if you're not ready for Surprise Contact. I still get startled. They've done a good job with that. Believe it or not a good way to not feel so startled is to be INCREDIBLY active. Simply moving around Norway fast and boldly gives you the upper hand because they have to get out of their comfort zone just to come at you

Fjellkanten is a funny map to use psd's on. I wanted to check if the cavern exit was clear. I saw someone right on the exit, sneaked inside, pinged again. Still there, I hear literal shots coming off like he's shooting someone else. Well he was, on top of the frigging mountain on the cave LOL

Got this when it first came out, liked the idea of it but there wasn’t much at first to keep you around imo, I’ve came back to the game now and what a hidden gem it is. It sorta plays and reminds me of escape from tarkov,

Which weapons and consumables do you recommend using ? When I played a couple years ago I used to roll out with the Scoped G3 or AUG HBAR, Bandages, and Antibiotics. Lost my knack for those and I’m trying to find a new load out to use. Also great tactics, I tend to use what I learned in the infantry but it doesn’t always translate when fighting some players. Lmao, I hate running into guys who jump around with an ADR like Fortnite and manage to smoke you. Embarrassing as hell. One thing I could add is using subdued or camouflaged cosmetics tended to work for me greatly, I recommend others who are reading this to try and match the foliage or climate with similar colors.
In my experience most actual real infantry training didn't apply to this game. Modern armies rely so much on combined arms and loads of support. Their tactics and doctrines don't apply much. The only real military films/training material I've seen that TOTALLY applies to this game are from WW2. Much of that is VERY applicable because their tools and arms are so similar to the game
@@JealousFist Yes I would agree with you but there’s small unit tactics that every infantryman learns when combined arms outside of platoon or squad level isn’t possible. I could have been more specific with what I meant but from the fireteam level to Individual actions you can translate pretty well. For example, utilizing micro terrain, cover, concealment, clearing urbanized terrain, security, reconnaissance, etc. Individual tasks are the most translatable with this game, you just cant account for many factors that would occur in real life through a screen. The bare bones basics tended to help me the most. I used to play with a good buddy of mine who was also a marine, we would buddy rush, turn and burn during ambushes, use cover by fire or fire and move tactics, pie off corners and houses, cover avenues of approach, set up checkpoints and objective, set up L formation ambush sites… I could go on and on but I would fill your whole comment section. Lol

Dude, not long ago we didn't have Consumable limits in our bags. We'd run around with stacks of Pings and Mortars and all the fun stuff. We'd find those poor RainJackets and set Norway on FIRE. I miss that 😥...🤣👍
I may be sick in the head I don’t know. But I would love to see a state where your character limps after taking a certain amount of fall damage (broken/fractured bones) and a consumable such as a splint that would remove the effect. Secondly, maybe a bleeding animation? I want to be able to track my enemies after tagging them by following the blood trail on the snow. Until they use a bandage to stop the bleeding. Maybe bag rarity not just being cosmetic and having increased capacity? Lastly…. FIRE! I want to see devastation caused by fire.
Question on portable signal detectors. Can your team see enemy pings or just you. I kept poppin mine and my teammate swore he couldnt see the enemies on his map.
I just got into the game today.. first Match I'm just looting houses and stuff and I've played games like pubg hell even metal gear solid so stealth.. I crouched for most of it and I'm just looting near what looked like a campsite and I see a guy just coming around the corner like 10ft from me I had my Thompson aimed That direction and I just started shooting while getting around a house next to me.. the one mistake I learned from other games I don't rush toward him I go around in a flank... well he knew I was going that way and I hear his footsteps and I'm completely quiet waiting by a tree for him to push that corner and he pushed it while firing with a uzi I returned fire with the Thompson and at killed him now.. I didn't know what the red marker meant at first.. I thought he was just injured so I moved up slowly expecting him just to be aiming at me and my finger was on the RT just ready to shoot well he died so I looked around to make sure I was clear and I got the uzi and a SVU and other things I took it all and I just had a gut feeling someone was near and I got out of there.. I was happy I can't wait to progress further
You just have to jump up on the tables or desks or counters or whatever is nearby. Look inside the houses with rafters that people have shot you from and look around and you'll see how they did it 💪🤘

Most infuriating thing is the multiple headshots which seem to work through buildings and rocks and negate recoil 😢😂 cheater's regularly make me wanna stop playing this game it's infuriating solo
Do you kill everyone you can in encounters ? I recently re-downloaded Vigor a week ago and so it was nice having a few friendly encounters, on Kjerstin there was like me and 3 other players at the beginning being friendly to each other it was awesome.
It depends. The Airdrop is my goal and first priority. In Solos I rarely clear a lobby, I tend to get 1-3 kills in Solos. Teams is totally different. I only play with a few guys I've known for awhile and they're MONSTERS who like to terrorize the poor RainJackets. Those games it's all about lobby wipes and atrocities can happen 🤣👍
@rokstarxyz 🤣🤣🤣💪 I got sick of the cheating, the noob shield, the constant nerfs, the devs gaslighting us and then the final straw was them adding in NPC bots to the game. And then my final final straw was them lying to me about it and demanding of me to start making videos again or they would kick me out. I do miss the game terribly but I'm glad I'm gone. While I was obsessed with games and winning I was missing out on what was going on. I liked making videos a lot and want to again but it was like, what to make videos about? I figured that out. I figured out my topic. I've already learned how to make video and all that social Media stuff for it. Right now I'm just learning how to protect myself from what will happen when I do the next project.
Another great video but got to disagree with the armour plate assessment what it does is allows people to rush at people and basically have more health. The guy in the house you killed would have killed you if it were not for the armour plate you had. It is frustrating for players who don't have the ability to craft them when the sweats run around the map with impunity and multiple armour plates. Personally I don't think they are that useful unless you are the running around killing type of player but it definitely gives that type of player an advantage.
Those are good points. The only thing I would add to What you've said it's that it applies equally to most Consumables. Any Consumable that is good for non-Aggro guys will be good for the Monsters as well. Armor batting no exception. If people don't have Armor yet they should TOTALLY be bringing Painkillers. Almost just as good and cheaper
@@JealousFist Completely agree about painkillers 100 per cent. The difference is they work after the fact and not before which sometimes is the difference.
@@sk8n854 Armour plate plans and parts are non existent, I literally have hundreds of everything else, I'm not a new player but didn't play season 6, I've opened countless crates and have thousands of crowns. The only light at the end of the tunnel is perhaps legacy season 6 which hopefully will be coming next season. I'm all for grinding hard to earn something but the armour plate seems broken/unobtainable. 🤷♂️
Yes! Biggest one is to realize you're gonna get absolutely owned until you learn how to move around and how to play. This game, quite intentionally, has a steep learning curve. It's supposed to be very hard. And it is. Try to accept right now how frustrating the next few weeks will be and you will be all right. Also, self-serving here, watch all my tactics videos. If you spent an hour, or however long it would take, to watch my tactics videos you will be exposed to and learn information that would take you 6 months of playing to learn on your own through dying over and over again. Treat every corner that you could go around and every house you could enter as if it was real life and some murdering fiend could kill you. If you try to protect yourself in the game like you would in real life that will go very very far. Once you've got a few weeks of playing you'll see what I mean. Welcome to Norway! @@imana3808 Any plan from a BattlePass is only obtainable from unlocking the level in it's Legacy Season or when it's put up for sale in the Store. For a brief few months past BP plans could be gotten from Airdrops but they stopped that with legacy seasons.
@@imana3808 Yes they can. Farm Crowns from Shootout, always collect your Crowns everyday from the Antenna. I know guys that get hundreds of Crowns for free daily by winning games. That's not normal or what most people can pull off but it shows it is obtainable. Work hard and you can get all the good stuff for free. That's the beauty of this games pay model and free to play system.

are you playing a p.c. version of this game where shit actually works? I dont understand deconstruction anything, all i get is parts, i have 2 million parts
Vigor is console only. To build things from parts go into consumables or weapons, in the loadout menu,and highlight the weapon or gun or whatever. You then hit X to build and A to confirm and it will build it from parts. Whenever you build a gun or consumable or whatever it will always build it from parts if you have parts. It will use materials if you have no parts. So find the SVU n loadouts, highlight it like you would to put it in your bag, but instead of hitting A hit X and then A and it will build one from parts if you have them. Once you have run out of parts you will start paying for them with materials.
I'm using all these consumables constantly in the video. I'm showing real fights using them. What was not clear about what I said with the footage? I always want feedback and perspectives.

Which weapons and consumables do you recommend using ? When I played a couple years ago I used to roll out with the Scoped G3 or AUG HBAR, Bandages, and Antibiotics. Lost my knack for those and I’m trying to find a new load out to use. Also great tactics, I tend to use what I learned in the infantry but it doesn’t always translate when fighting some players. Lmao, I hate running into guys who jump around with an ADR like Fortnite and manage to smoke you. Embarrassing as hell. One thing I could add is using subdued or camouflaged cosmetics tended to work for me greatly, I recommend others who are reading this to try and match the foliage or climate with similar colors.
In my experience most actual real infantry training didn't apply to this game. Modern armies rely so much on combined arms and loads of support. Their tactics and doctrines don't apply much.
The only real military films/training material I've seen that TOTALLY applies to this game are from WW2. Much of that is VERY applicable because their tools and arms are so similar to the game
@@JealousFist Yes I would agree with you but there’s small unit tactics that every infantryman learns when combined arms outside of platoon or squad level isn’t possible. I could have been more specific with what I meant but from the fireteam level to Individual actions you can translate pretty well. For example, utilizing micro terrain, cover, concealment, clearing urbanized terrain, security, reconnaissance, etc. Individual tasks are the most translatable with this game, you just cant account for many factors that would occur in real life through a screen. The bare bones basics tended to help me the most. I used to play with a good buddy of mine who was also a marine, we would buddy rush, turn and burn during ambushes, use cover by fire or fire and move tactics, pie off corners and houses, cover avenues of approach, set up checkpoints and objective, set up L formation ambush sites… I could go on and on but I would fill your whole comment section. Lol

Dude, not long ago we didn't have Consumable limits in our bags. We'd run around with stacks of Pings and Mortars and all the fun stuff. We'd find those poor RainJackets and set Norway on FIRE.

I may be sick in the head I don’t know. But I would love to see a state where your character limps after taking a certain amount of fall damage (broken/fractured bones) and a consumable such as a splint that would remove the effect.
Secondly, maybe a bleeding animation? I want to be able to track my enemies after tagging them by following the blood trail on the snow. Until they use a bandage to stop the bleeding.
Maybe bag rarity not just being cosmetic and having increased capacity?
Lastly…. FIRE! I want to see devastation caused by fire.

Question on portable signal detectors. Can your team see enemy pings or just you. I kept poppin mine and my teammate swore he couldnt see the enemies on his map.
When you ping the red dot is displayed only on your map. To show him the enemy position put your star on the red dot while you're both in the map👍

It's simply better in every way in most situations than 1st. More accurate, better situational awareness and easier to fire and move.

I just got into the game today.. first Match I'm just looting houses and stuff and I've played games like pubg hell even metal gear solid so stealth.. I crouched for most of it and I'm just looting near what looked like a campsite and I see a guy just coming around the corner like 10ft from me I had my Thompson aimed That direction and I just started shooting while getting around a house next to me.. the one mistake I learned from other games I don't rush toward him I go around in a flank... well he knew I was going that way and I hear his footsteps and I'm completely quiet waiting by a tree for him to push that corner and he pushed it while firing with a uzi I returned fire with the Thompson and at killed him now.. I didn't know what the red marker meant at first.. I thought he was just injured so I moved up slowly expecting him just to be aiming at me and my finger was on the RT just ready to shoot well he died so I looked around to make sure I was clear and I got the uzi and a SVU and other things I took it all and I just had a gut feeling someone was near and I got out of there.. I was happy I can't wait to progress further

You just have to jump up on the tables or desks or counters or whatever is nearby. Look inside the houses with rafters that people have shot you from and look around and you'll see how they did it 💪🤘

Do you kill everyone you can in encounters ? I recently re-downloaded Vigor a week ago and so it was nice having a few friendly encounters, on Kjerstin there was like me and 3 other players at the beginning being friendly to each other it was awesome.
It depends. The Airdrop is my goal and first priority. In Solos I rarely clear a lobby, I tend to get 1-3 kills in Solos.
Teams is totally different. I only play with a few guys I've known for awhile and they're MONSTERS who like to terrorize the poor RainJackets. Those games it's all about lobby wipes and atrocities can happen 🤣👍

I got sick of the cheating, the noob shield, the constant nerfs, the devs gaslighting us and then the final straw was them adding in NPC bots to the game. And then my final final straw was them lying to me about it and demanding of me to start making videos again or they would kick me out.
I do miss the game terribly but I'm glad I'm gone. While I was obsessed with games and winning I was missing out on what was going on.
I liked making videos a lot and want to again but it was like, what to make videos about? I figured that out. I figured out my topic. I've already learned how to make video and all that social Media stuff for it.
Right now I'm just learning how to protect myself from what will happen when I do the next project.

Another great video but got to disagree with the armour plate assessment what it does is allows people to rush at people and basically have more health. The guy in the house you killed would have killed you if it were not for the armour plate you had. It is frustrating for players who don't have the ability to craft them when the sweats run around the map with impunity and multiple armour plates. Personally I don't think they are that useful unless you are the running around killing type of player but it definitely gives that type of player an advantage.
Those are good points. The only thing I would add to What you've said it's that it applies equally to most Consumables. Any Consumable that is good for non-Aggro guys will be good for the Monsters as well. Armor batting no exception.
If people don't have Armor yet they should TOTALLY be bringing Painkillers. Almost just as good and cheaper

@@sk8n854 Armour plate plans and parts are non existent, I literally have hundreds of everything else, I'm not a new player but didn't play season 6, I've opened countless crates and have thousands of crowns. The only light at the end of the tunnel is perhaps legacy season 6 which hopefully will be coming next season. I'm all for grinding hard to earn something but the armour plate seems broken/unobtainable. 🤷♂️

Yes! Biggest one is to realize you're gonna get absolutely owned until you learn how to move around and how to play.
This game, quite intentionally, has a steep learning curve. It's supposed to be very hard. And it is. Try to accept right now how frustrating the next few weeks will be and you will be all right.
Also, self-serving here, watch all my tactics videos. If you spent an hour, or however long it would take, to watch my tactics videos you will be exposed to and learn information that would take you 6 months of playing to learn on your own through dying over and over again.
Treat every corner that you could go around and every house you could enter as if it was real life and some murdering fiend could kill you. If you try to protect yourself in the game like you would in real life that will go very very far.
Once you've got a few weeks of playing you'll see what I mean.

@@imana3808 Any plan from a BattlePass is only obtainable from unlocking the level in it's Legacy Season or when it's put up for sale in the Store.
For a brief few months past BP plans could be gotten from Airdrops but they stopped that with legacy seasons.

@@imana3808 Yes they can. Farm Crowns from Shootout, always collect your Crowns everyday from the Antenna.
I know guys that get hundreds of Crowns for free daily by winning games. That's not normal or what most people can pull off but it shows it is obtainable.
Work hard and you can get all the good stuff for free. That's the beauty of this games pay model and free to play system.

are you playing a p.c. version of this game where shit actually works? I dont understand deconstruction anything, all i get is parts, i have 2 million parts
Vigor is console only. To build things from parts go into consumables or weapons, in the loadout menu,and highlight the weapon or gun or whatever. You then hit X to build and A to confirm and it will build it from parts.
Whenever you build a gun or consumable or whatever it will always build it from parts if you have parts. It will use materials if you have no parts.
So find the SVU n loadouts, highlight it like you would to put it in your bag, but instead of hitting A hit X and then A and it will build one from parts if you have them. Once you have run out of parts you will start paying for them with materials.
You should show clips when using the consumables successfully instead of random kill feeds. Otherwise it’s good to see these “tutorials”
I'm using all these consumables constantly in the video. I'm showing real fights using them.
