does your light keep blinking no matter how long you are braking or does it turn to solid red after a few blinks, because mine will stay blinking and i did everything in the video
@@tannerblair2185 I don’t think so, because on my STI just flash like few times then brighten brake light. On Q it would just keep flashing while pressing on brake
The same thing happened to me. I installed a couple days ago, and when I hold down the brake, it never stops flashing. Did you find out a fix for this?
Hi Kevin I didn’t connect or add anything to wires, the wires came with pins connected to ends so able slide wires into back side of connector,, if your wires are bare you could maybe add some solder to tips of wires.
yes just did it on my 2018 q50. black to black red to red and white to green and all functions work. dont cut wires just do like him and push into the back of the connector
just did it for my 2019 Q50 definitely earned my sub saved me so much time
That’s awesome!! Glad it help you out, unfortunately for us we no longer have Q50 in the collection.

Glookin I just plugged em em and left it like that 😂 works fine easy to take off now too
Right on… 👍
did you plug it directly into back of the wire ?
Yep, just piggyback off back plug wire for power. Just like you would back probe on a test light.
Hey what are the tips of the wire called. Mine just came with short tips
@@Slowahh_50 I put heat shrink on end near tip of wires.
What were those things you connected to the wires to just plug right in?

I’m not sure we didn’t try on driver side, but see why not if find wires for brake light
Swap red wire onto green wire, and white to red. Work out better

Are you asking about the wire colors?
Yes please
@@victorbravo4634want color wires black to black, white to red, red to green. Found that work for us. Hope that helps you out

No you want white to red and olive to red, hope that helps
You know why my diffuser wires doesent reach the taillight wires
Idk,,, someone cut the too short? That sucks, get some 12ga or 10ga wire and extend them
@@Milestyle thanks for responding. Got it to work.
@@tomcriscuolo awesome!! Glad to hear working
hello how do you get access to the trunk wires?
Just pull up plastics trim around back of trunk
“My face is the pill”
How you get the wire to run from the diffuser to the trunk. You made a hole somewhere?
@@marcusstubbs1662 we ran the wires thru rubber drain plug at bottom of trunk, put hole in rubber plug.
