I797B approved with previous employer in 2017, it's never used, I am in India now, can it be used for current employer? Or any other employer in usa?

Approved i797A shouldn't have any issues with the H4 approval if everything is right.

I received the same just stated in notice type: receipt notice fee previously collected. What that mean?
Hi Sir My I94 and H1B is expiring in 4 months but my i797B is valid till 2026...in this case how to extend i94 ...Do i need fresh h1b stamping
You might need to leave US & come back again for change of status
Can a recruiter work with someone who has a i797B ? Can a candidate who sends B copy be submitted for a role ?
Before you proceed, check whether the person is in USA or outside & ask the reason for the not approval of i94 status/stay.

if you are a independent recruiter and working with some direct vendor by refferal you can ask but not sure it will work
