Deeply confused about what you think that a cowbell sounds like. There are any number of clanky, high-octave, precussive-yet-melodic sounds being deployed here but I'm pretty sure that not a single one of them is a cowbell or even that close. You've got a woodblock, an arpeggiated synth line... I guess one of the 808 sounds is technically called "cowbell" so you're not wrong. But it sounds very little like an actual cowbell.
@@tiivc modified cowbell is still cowbell, we all knew what they meant, you're just being pedantic - there are cowbells all through the track. get your ears checked you pisshead
Old skool vibes with a modern twist on point. I would love to collab with you someday. Hit me up if you need someone to rap on the track or dance. Cheers!
ok, enough, we've seen the pic subcontiously enough now for us to ask - what's the story here? let me make it simple - was these staged or is these a genuine gem?
The sequence is a 4 string arpeggio set to random from my korgMS200 (FilterString preset). Pull the sustain & release all the way down and presto. It does sound exactly the same but the only samples used in this one are from 'Icey Jaye - It Takes a Real Man' and 'Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force - Planet Rock'
Not feeling it man. The breakbeat is dope and i like the hit. But that rob base sample is borderline torture. Maybe if it was live on a crazy system I could tolerate it for a lil bit in a mix. 2live crew does a good job with this sample on Doodoo brown.
