Eternal Blue is my favourite song ever. Ultraviolet is getting very close but Eternal Blue is an absolute masterpiece. That said, the verse from Hurt You, "You just keep on building the tension, I wanna escalate out of this stasis, But you just keep on building the tension, I wanna escalate into the grave" may be one of the most brutally impressive pieces of song writing I've ever heard.
Eternal Blue might just be my favorite song of all time. Even if it took you so long to get to this album, I'm always happy to see people being blown away by it!
This album came out right as I was getting into metal so it holds a special place in my heart. I love Spiritbox and this is one of my favorite albums from the past couple years. So glad you finally got to hear it for yourself!
@@JacobRatHxC After Eternal Blue, the next full metalcore album I listened to was actually ERRA's self-titled lol. Before Spiritbox, the only metal that I had listened to was Starset's heavier stuff (some songs of their record Vessels) and A7X (through Black Ops zombies), though I had found the latter just at the end of 2020. Idk anymore what the next band was after ERRA.. I think I had a big exploration phase in the metalcore realm, but there were no bands where I genuinely liked whole albums. Maybe Shrine by Bleed from Within.. Then Heavener dropped and I found Greyview.. the rest is history :)
@@ensco7 self-titled is such an incredible album, definitely listen to Drift and Augment if you haven't yet! I'm glad you found Invent Animate quickly lmao Greyview is still my favorite album by them along with Stillworld :) if you want some incredible full albums / EP's you should check these out if you haven't! Above, Below - The Lotus Chapters Lantlos - Wildhund Petroglyphs - Into The Aether Rogue - Aeon Loathe - I Let It In And It Took Everything
@@JacobRatHxC Thanks for the recoms! I finished listening to ERRA's whole discography earlier this year. Although I'm generally not one to re-listen to whole albums anyways (I'm picky and might even skip tracks that aren't at least a 9/10), I don't see me listening to the whole of Augment again. However, Drift is a contender for that. Don't get me wrong, there are still bangers on Augment. I Let It In.. was a must-listen. I think I'm now deep enough into the genre that I know most of the top songs and understand memes and stuff. I have watched Bogdan, Nik Noc, Birb, Drew and some Rachelle regularly since last fall and honestly search for Invent, Spiritbox, ERRA, [whatever song I like, a.e. Antimatter] reactions like weekly. I'm lonely lol.
This album is a masterpiece of modern (At the time of this writing) metal, I will never waiver from this statement, even when im dead and gone, this comment will live on to prove my statement true for years to come.
Also, constance was written for her grandma who wanted to hear a song that she didn't sceam on and unfortunately she passed due to covid before she could hear it. She was then gonna sing it at her funeral but thte government didn't allow a service... It's such a heavy and beautiful ending to one of my all time favorite albums.
I hope this channel blows up, respect to full album reactions, this ain't no 58sec kid zone, locked in, strapped up, high af, let's blaze this oregon trail.
this. Constance makes so much more sense with the video. The story of the video is even more heartwrenching if you care to look it up, it's absolutely beautiful.
ISN'T IT? literally nobody I know knows lantlôs either lmao their last two albums are just addicting, I try to talk about them whenever I have a chance!

Eternal Blue song AND album were #1 on my Spotify wrap year end in 2021
Same, it has such an ethereal/soothing feel to it. It's so easy for me to put it on loop.
"Consistence" lmao
LMAOOOO i saw that during editing and was so annoyed at myself
Now go find live versions of these songs and be even more blown away.

Same, it was the first proper metal record for me.
Me too! this is definitely a great introduction to metal, next step would probably be ERRA

Halcyon is so fucking fun to play, especially the breakdown at the end. One of their most underrated tracks FOR SURE

holy shit that's tragic, it adds a whole layer to this song for me, thank you for telling me that!

You've got to watch and review the music video for Constance. It is perfect and moving.

I didn’t like this entire GENRE until I heard this LP. 🔥
Great reaction to an amazing album! I'm so excited for the EP
Yellowjacket is just Mike writing an Architects song Feat. Sam Carter. lol
DUDE LAKE FANTASY IS SUCH A GOOD SONg. I thoughbt i was the only one who knew Lantlos!!!

I honestly think Josh does Sam's parts better than Sam on the original.
