And a story and script which is sufficient enough to make people laugh when they go with their family... Stree 2 cracked the code to be a simple horror comedy and held on too its core very well... Majority audience don't want complicated script... They just want to be entertained which Stree 2 did...
Definitely horror comedy is a good genre. But why stree 2 is such a big hit? I have watched stree 1, and after watching stree 2 I thought at first that some other director did this movie... Stree 1 was really a good 1. Stree 2 is nothing compared to that charm on the basis of script, timing, and humor.
