    Have you had to service the BOS yet? Is it just a matter of adding some sort of grease or is it best to take apart and inspect/service thoroughly.

    • @KiwiWanderers
      @KiwiWanderers  2 місяці тому +1

      Yes I think Bos recommends greasing it every 3 months I haven't pulled it apart to see if it needs more than I'm giving it but it's still behaving like it was when it was new. Thanks for watching Cheers Greg

    Great review. I’m undecided between the Bos 370 , trail a mate and the electric black jack but I’m working through all the reviews and found yours very helpful 🏆👍

    hi i brought the boss duel clamp and fitted to side of draw bar ...way more rigid than existing clamp ....my old van rolled a bit when removing from car and broke top weld on original clamp and just about collapsed would not have been good with 300kg tongue weight

    • @KiwiWanderers
      @KiwiWanderers  2 роки тому

      Wow OK good tip. I do think the original clamp is way below par. I think I will do the same,, Thanks For watching Cheers Greg

    Thank goodness we came across your channel and found this review. We have begun researching alternatives to the jockey wheel due to Jon's back injury and this seems perfect. We travel Australia and Jon at times struggles with the standard wheel. Thank you for your review. We have now subscribed and will be watching more of your vids on the weekend. Stay safe

    I have had one for a while now. they do have minor problems and spare parts are available, Please Note if you leave it on the van while traveling ensure it is up tight as they unwind with the breeze (I know as I have been caught). also follow the instruction and do not Use hammer or rachet on the drill as it will Destroy the mechanism.

    Can you please tell which one you got. We recently purchased the 3 ribbed with extension and it seems great. When I ordered it it said suitable for single and double clamps. Ours is a single so bought one. Yours is also a single. Big now I can’t seem to find where it said that only suitable for double clamp. Do you have any info on this. Thanks

    Good video mate. Sadly I don't have any trouble *yet* with our current jockey wheel so I may have trouble justifying the Bos370 to the War Office, and may have to wait a few years :)

      Very wise I’m a firm believer in not making the application to the war office 2 early…. Thanks for watching cheers Greg

    Nice mate. $600 bucks does seem a bit pricey though... I'm interested to hear how you bent your old jockey wheel lol.
