I like that prodigy communication seems to be good and how both sides should be able to talk and figure out resolutions to problems but doing it on stream while rping is kinda weird like you know these guys personally just call him after stream and figure it out both sides should be happy but that's just not possible both sides are never gonna be happy so they might as well accept that
I'd honestly love to see a wrestle mechanic where the crims have a slight advantage. Like a tug of war - the arm wrestling that existed in np(?), kind of. So the cops tackle or taze = you have to wrestle your way up against that cop. As long as you wrestle, you can't get up, and another cop can put you in cuffs.
Actually, maybe the cops should have the slight advantage, and if they "fully restrain" someone, they can cuff them themselves, and crims can't break cuffs this way.
Would be nice because it is more realistic to escape a cop one on one. They should add onto what you said but allowing more cops to join in on the struggle making it harder for the crim. So a 1v1 struggle is easy if you good and the cop is sloppy but a 3v1 struggle would more than likely get u restrained since it should be more difficult
@@JordanCoburn-p5j That was my first idea, but I suspect it's not going to be that straight forward. Crims have friends, and if cops need to be 3 on 1, there will be no other cops to take care of the other crims. The other crims will probably just try to tackle the cops who are wrestling, then.
That's why I think 1v1, and then non-breakable cuffs if a second officer joins, is good. Perhaps it could take a few more seconds to put on unbreakable cuffs to simulate that the other officer is in on the wrestling.
Anyway, we're just speculating. It's not like a dev will ever see this.

This is the one point I will agree with Hutch on. It’s way too easy to escape from police custody. And CG is taking advantage of it a lot.
I've always kind of thought that at a certain point it should be against the rules to save your people from the cops. Once it reaches a certain point, you're just caught. No saving you.
3.0 had so much of that uncuffing people in a group of 10 cops it was just awkward to watch lol
Devs can just add a new locked hospital section and a new checkin for those that are arrested; if they think it's a problem... Easy solution.
Additionally; MRPD has a hospital room too, why not get them treated there?

Sort of, Hutch in generalizing the whole thing. Summit got walked in cuffed and the cop allowed him to walk on his own, cop got distracted, chawa then just walked out and got in a random persons car. Not one person from CG helped him escape. The cop just wasn't paying attention.
How about criminals cant go into the hospital anymore but devs buff local cars to be able to take more of a beating. Fair trade off?
Gives me so much nostalgia I was doing rp on Altis life in like 2013, and it's still the same problems 😂 You can build a great server and community but after a while shit gets ferrel. Rp can be fun but also it can be constantly used in your favour so tough regulate easily
I agree with Shotz on one thing: batons. But not immediately. Maybe some SOP that says after the first or second car swap batons are free to be used. There needs to be some sort of increasing danger for the crims the longer shit goes on..

It seems the way of any server. People can have a reasonable good faith discussion about things, but then someone else is going to exploit rules or mechanics.
It do seem there is less excitement or tension as a viewer when the risk of getting caught is so low.
Everyone can complain about this and that details but at least its being discussed and worked on. Something I felt was one sided on nopixel. Of all people I never thought it would be Hutch but color me impressed if he, of all people, can do this. I knew eventually Prodigy would get big and this would have to be figured out for the server to not go the way nopixel did. There needs to be a clear defined fail state for crims. The down mechanic needs to be removed, the walking with cuffs needs to be reworked (not sure what the best way is currently). Not only does it need to be decided on, once the decision is made it needs to be posted and shown to the chat viewers of these streamers because you know dang well they get way more upset than the streamers do.
People could meta game the hospital finding ways to kill themselves intentionally in a chase to get sent to prison so their boys can break them out. Instead of going from arrest to prison.
I think after 1 or 2 swaps you should start putting heavier and at faster speeds then 3rd swap is taze and beat down
Shootouts are happening because the chases last too long. Cop cars DO NOT DIE! So even if you swap 9 times you have air one and 6 cars on you. So crims would rather shoot. Also noticing that the crims are getting annoyed when cops roll up to two gangs shooting and cops chase one and not the other. Instead of sending 2 units each on one gang/car they send all 4 on the same car/gang and its frustrating. So the only way out is to shoot.
There is Never 6 cars on a scene this is not nopixel and I primarily watch kebun and summit
@@Smk1 I watch them both two and they have 8 officers on "scene" and half of them are solo so do the math. I don't mean ever single chase or stop.

Batons should not kill or incapacitate a victim. Instead, they should daze or inflict stacking debuffs of nausea so their visions get more n more dizzy.

hospital fix would be to have a medical unit implemented into mrpd. RP training for specific officers that would get more pay for being both a paramedic and an officer or have a specialized paramedic in mrpd that has firearm training. Car swaps should be limited to two car swaps and any swap after that will result in officers being able to pit, spike, or shoot immediately. only hazy thing with the car swaps would be for example Summit swaps cars then Mr.K swaps cars would that be two swaps or one swap for each person. That would need to be worked out but im for two car swaps per chase so that way the teams would have to really think who should get the swap.
Shooting because of a car swap is dumb and would only lead to further toxicity.
Why has Bustin been avoiding K about this topic. He's talked to Zolo and Vinny, but K's the one that makes the calls, and if he says to go into the hospital, then they gonna go into the hospital

what if they eliminated breaking cuffs? If crims are gonna run multiple swaps then it gives the cops some kind of chance.
Its kinda just the nature of the game,who wants to watch the cops catching the crims even 50% of the time,people wana see the crims escape and then that very very rare time the cops actually catch someone is great content.

I think it's ok to rescue from the hospital *if you actually do something clever*. When Ramee pretended to be a doctor was amazing RP. When Ramee volunteered as an EMS and responded to a CG crime scene was hysterical. But just taking hostages and going down to the hospital isn't entertaining to watch.
He wasn't planning to take hostages. The cop going NVL and running off so he could tell other officers caused him to switch it to a hostage situation. He was planning on cuffing them up in the garage. Not sure what his plan was after that, though.

Vinny is my least favorite RPer. Not only do I find him annoying but his RP is actually just terrible. He was trying to do some southern accent character I saw the other day, idk might be old, but it was just absolutely awful. Has nothing to do with this conversation just wanted to say that, lol. As far as this convo the only thing I’ll say is criminals “in custody” break out of the hospital all the time. Don’t believe me, search it on UA-cam, lol. They go through the ceiling, sneak out, or just make a run for it, I’ve seen it all… crims and PD should win 50/50 and you can’t say that’s how it is right now, more like 75/25… but the real question is why is this convo happening in game??
His southern accent is horrible, but at least he attempts to have a different voice when playing a different character. I'll take that 10 times out of 10 over people using their regular voice on every character they play.
